What pokemon spin off would you like to see?

Looking back each of replaced companions has poitential for viable mini series based around them.

With Brock we could see his path on graduating to become doctor dealing with all kind of fears, anxiety in having to pass exams and be supervised by other doctors as part of his apprenticeship program. Have him go on trips to meet and consult with other specialists in healing and taking care of pokemon. Battling as part of test to determine how well he takes care of pokemon with activities like battling revealing condition of their shape, fur, agility etc. Have Brock become traveling doctor offering his services in treating wounds in wild with herbals and provisionary tools due to absence of pokemon centers testing his resourcefulness and knowledge. Etc.

Regarding Iris for example we could see her trying to become champion going in line with her game counterpart. Catch new dragon pokemon and consult with other dragon experts of how to bring their true sttrength on surface canalizing collected knowledge by evolving Axew. Research about new fairy type and how to overcome its neutrality vs dragon pokemon making them obsolete(pretty challenging task for any dragon trainer)etc.

Or Misty who we could see traveling at times entering tournaments like Whirl Cup, training on Seafom or similar islands with idol E4 Lorelei teaching her secrets of how to become true water expert, water master. Expand on past like missing parents, learn to overcome prejudices over pokemon and fears judging them by looks such as Surskit or newly revealed one from Alola Wimipod which as half bug could likely cause breakdown, inner struggle within character fighting with despise for bug pokemon and love for water not being sure what to.

Same applies to May/Dawn with their contest arcs covering adventures in Johto, focus on rivals and future ambitions.

And so on.

Possibilities are endless with many of them having juice and plots on which writers could expand and flesh out character more if wanted.

So I think pokemon chronicles type 2.0 would be very, very welcomed addition.
That would be awesome

I'd go for a Mystery Dungeon series. I was so amazed the first time I played this game, like I was wondering "What is this all about? Why a human turned into a Pokemon?!", and since all they've got were one special only for each (but the newest one), I'd root for a mini-series of like 13 episodes.

Other specials like the Housou ones'd be great too, exploring the Shin'ou, Isshu and Kalos recurring characters for instance.

I'd like a spin-off with the original Mewtwo and the one from the Genesect movie fighting crime together. Rocket Mewtwo would Mega Evolve into Mega Mewtwo X, and the Unova Mewtwo would keep Mega Mewtwo Y. Occasionally, Rocket Mewtwo's clones, the Genesect Army Unova Mewtwo put in line, the Swords of Justice, and other Pokémon from the movies would join them in cameos.

The name of the series would be called "Pokémon: Legendary Squad." Yes, my idea for a spin-off is basically a Legendary Pokémon version of Justice League.
Pretty sure they're the same mewtwo. Just a different voice actor for the english dub

I rather have a spin-off where a trainer keeps his powerhouses and eventually wins a league than to see Ash release his fully evolve pokemon while losing the league for the 6th time in a row.

Speaking of Mirrors, what about a Mirror World spinoff!

You just gave me an idea: What if the Pokémon Sun and Moon Anime is about Mirror Ash who goes through the events of Pokémon Sun (the silly, light-hearted part of the anime where Ash goes to school), while the real Ash goes through the events of Pokémon Moon? The plot of the Ultra Beasts would cause the two worlds to intersect once again!

Actually, there's a different Japanese voice actor as well. Plus, there was a tie-in special that clearly showed that the Unova Mewtwo was created by different people instead of Team Rocket. Not only that, but why would the original Mewtwo fail to recognize Ash, the person who inspired them to choose a more peaceful path?

I know this isn't feasible, but it would be SO COOL if it was!!!!!!!!!!

My idea is more for an alternate ending and linkage between XYZ and SM with brand new main character.
Ash wins the league, help to foil Lysandre's plan. Afterwards, he's invited by The Pokemon League to as a Champion-guest to the Alola Region, where pokemon league and gyms are yet to be found, as a messenger to help promote pokemon competitions. In Alola, he meets the Aether Foundation scientists who think Ash-Gerninja phenomenon is related to Ultra Beast, and decides to stay in the region and investigate. Ash's role in this series will be similar to Alain, appearing in specials episodes through the season.

The SM series will have a different main character, a young boy that goes to first year of pokemon school who looks like Ash and idolizes him. They meet in the first episode, and the boy decides to catch Pikachu as his first pokemon. This will be an Alolan Pikachu.

I always wanted to see Max taking part in gyms and pokemon league.
Maybe shown the fates and battles of May and the rest?

Animated version of Pokemon Adventure. Or something like the old special shorts, Where the pokemon do adventures without their trainers.

Anyway, i would go for anything with less Pikachu. got tired of seeing this little rat every-single-where

It might be just me, but I'd love to see a cour (12-13 episodes) of stories of Satoshi's past released Pokemon and what happened to each of them. Each Pokemon can have an episode about them and we can discover how they've been doing and it could help grant our nostalgia and piece together broken pieces of his past adventures! It could start with Butterfree and end with Greninja!

I would love a lengthy anime based on Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.

Think about it, it begins as some sort of slice-of-life anime focusing on the daily lives of the students and staff at the Ranger School. There's plenty of characters with different goals and roles, and a nice setting to work with here. The main characters then graduate and the protagonist moves to Vientown to work as an Area Ranger, as the anime gradually becomes more action-packed with stuff such as the Vien Forest fire and Team Dim Sun's antics.

The rest writes itself, the game already has a lot of dramatic moments where the main characters can really shine in an adaptation. There's a lot of in-game quests that can serve as "filler" episodes, along with several missions that call for long arcs with big reveals and plot twists, such as the assault on Kincaid's ship and most of the missions the player gets when they become a Top Ranger.

Please.. make Mega Evolution Specials into a spin off with more episodes. It could have Mairin as the developing character, and Alain as a mentor. Mairin could potentially get a Chestnaught, and a mega evolution. She had Alain could also advertise Z-Moves, Alola Forms etc., and they could occasionally tie onto the main anime.

I kind of enjoy the idea of Ash's former Pokemon and what happened to them, like what happened to his Butterfree (when it was a Caterpie, it was the first Pokemon Ash caught). But I also like the idea of former companions. It's been a while since I seen the anime series though, but the spinoffs some people have put up are something for the older fans like yours truly.

Speaking of released Pokémon, I can honestly see an Ash-Greninja spin-off if we assume he's never going to see Ash again. Think about it. This Pokémon's popularity topped Charizard, who is one of the franchise's most marketable Pokémon ever. Since it can be used in the games by transferring it from the SM Special Demo, it could still be relevant enough to continue marketing Greninja for the time being, at least until Gen VIII roles around. What better way is there to do so thanto create an Ash-Greninja spin-off show? Heck, they should make Ash-Greninja the main character of a Justice League like group with Zygarde, the Kalos mythicals, and Magearna to round out the cast. It could be about them protect Kalos from various threats, some of them being made up by the writers and others being antagonists of spin-off games put in there for advertising purposes. I'd call this spin-off Pokémon XYZ Force: Defenders of Kalos.

Seriously, having a spin-off with the very popular Ash-Greninja to market things that wouldn't fit in the main anime sounds like a good business strategy and could potentially provide deeper plots and be more action-oriented for the older Shounen demographic.

I would like to see a series where 2 former traveling companions of Ash travel together in a region, like Serena and Brock, and have a new character join them. They could even make recuring appearances of previous characters like May, Dawn, Cilan etc. and have them later to visit Alola to see Ash.
