Well, here it is:

Satoshi and his friends have resolved the Ultra Beast incident. But one day after peace has returned, Satoshi learns that Professor Kukui has something very important to tell him.

End of one story while starting another. Sounds neat.

Though I'm not sure how I feel about giving Nebby a big farewell when he had a fairly short tenure, even he did have a lot screentime throughout...

I'll be sad that Nebby leaves, hopefully that he and Lunala returns in the future.

I had a feeling there would be one more episode. Maybe they leave that place in this episode or the fight ends near the beginning or halfway through this episode. I can't see a whole episode of Ash and co. saying goodbye to Nebby and Ash talking to Professor Kukui, plus the recent magazine scans of Pokemon Fan did say not to miss out on the episodes of SM053, SM054 and SM055.

Ash league record is 1-6. Don't know isn't going to be 1-7 or the writer might give us a surprised 2-6. But I kinda a doubt about it.

On a serious note, if it is the Pokemon League then maybe the battling & Trial aspect of the saga may improve for the better.
