Just finished watching the episode, Eddy Lee (Gladion) and Lori Phillips (Umbreon) really shined this episode

Jeremy Levy is brilliant as Mohn which makes he wish they'd find him for some great family scenes

Really good episode right here. The set-up for the league, Mohn's plot, Lillie getting some much needed development and for Gladion also.

I don't review episodes as often as I'd like to, but I had to for this one because it's a pretty great example of everything I love about SM as a series.

Seriously, there was peak Kiawe/Ash/Lana personality, the characters' unique relationships, the Aether crew, some really great Gladion scenes, interesting flashbacks, Z-Moves...a really great balance of humor, action, and emotion. I was almost shocked when the episode ended because I felt like I had only been watching it for 10 minutes!

Great episode, super enjoyable.

You have great and greatly animated moments for Lillie and Gladion...and then you have everyone else being over-the-top silly and BURYING us under meme faces...

That's not really juxtaposition. That's just simple contrast. The former gains more weight by being contrasted with the latter, and vice-versa.

I really loved watching Gladion's Umbreon this episode, its determination in attacking Mandibuzz and wanting to help find Zoroark
