Go's second mission per Project Mew's initiation? I like Volcarona, so seeing it animated again will be a treat.

Here's hoping Drizzile/Inteleon gets to help out here with some Water-awesomeness, but I won't get my hopes up.

He only didn't keep Ninetales because it was lost and needed to go back home. The same may not be true with Volcarona.

Funny coincidence: I got my first COVID shot the same day the Ninetales episode aired. And now the second proper Project Mew episode will mark the day I get the second shot.

You mean a Pokemon that Ash had near zero chance of getting. It isn't nearly as popular as Dragonite, Gengar or Lucario.
