@TM28

Professor Rosewood
Traits:
  • Reddish brown hair
  • Shiny white lab coat, shiny white long pants and polished white boots
  • Always very smoothly dressed
  • She is always very organised
  • Strong-willed
  • Very focused and determined on her work
  • Studies Pokemon behaviours (Why do Pokemon react in certain ways in certain situations)
  • Deep dark brown eyes
  • Big coffee lover
  • Despite being young, 27-years old, she is very wise beyond her years

I'll get started with the Legendaries:

Psyphon
Psychic/Dark
BST: 680
Basis: Typhon, with the name being a pun on Psychic and Siphon.
Ability: Levimancy: Gives a STAB to Electric-type attacks

Another Legendary

Ramizar
Fairy/Steel

The Ram Pokemon

Basis: Golden sheep. Male only. Comes with a user-specific item, Golden Fleece.

Ability: Guard's Fury (If the item Golden Fleece is parted with the holder through theft, or switched with another pokemon via Trick or Switcheroo, the holder's Defense and Special Defense stats will receive a boost by X1.5. The effects will not occur if the trainer removes the item outside of battle.)

BST: 600... I guess? (all of the stats are equally 100)

One More Legendary!!

Innaria
Innovation Pokemon
Type: Water/Psychic
Ability: Innovating Verses (When called to battle, will raise a random stat of all allies by 2 stages) (Two stats are boosted by two stages if "Wisdom Flute" is held)

Basis is a Dolphin
Name comes from Innovation, and Maria, Latin for sea.

When it holds "Wisdom Flute", it changes to Wisdom form, having more offensively oriented stats. Wisdom form has 650 BST. Regular form has 600 BST.

Tanjoosi
Grass/Water
Cute little walking tangerine/orange Pokemon. Very sweet and friendly. Attacks with citrus juices.

Citrange
Grass/Water
Walking plant Pokemon that can produce a range of citrus fruits. Its personality can also range from being a pretty cool guy to a real sourpuss. Watch your eyes if the latter.

No more Pokemon!

I'll have polls up for the other starters.

Thirdly, suggestions in which Pokemon fill what roles. Even if you didn't enter the pick, feel free to suggest if a Pokemon could fit the role of an early/mid/late stage Pokemon, nominate pseudo-legendaries, Pokemon rivals, which Pokemon should be common/rare.

@TM28 Here's my nominations

  • Common Bug: Terrarva
  • Common Bird: Falcling
  • Pseudo-Legendary: Valaisus
  • And The Bounsweet and Mincchino lines should be much they they are in their own game, Pokemon that cna only be found in small parts of the game.

Pseudo-Legendary: Valaisus

When I designed Valaisus (I actually tried to make a rough drawing of it), I meant it to be a starter, adhering to the zodiac, too. But, a Pseudo Legendary Starter? I'd like to see how it'd turn out, since as far as I'm aware, the only explicit stated fire starter is Valaise Line. The Dual Water/Fire line makes me think of a water starter, since Water is its primary type.

EDIT: My nominations
Regional Bug: Hynopillar Line
Common Bird: Falcling
Starting Electric Rodent: I think Regional Pikachu, and Raichu would fill the role
Pseudo Legendary: Aluimicket
Common Pokemon 2: Nucklode, due to some polluted climates here and there

List of possible nomination categories.

  • Novelty Pokemon - A Pokémon that possesses a unique trait, usually in battle. e.g Smeargle
  • Legendary Duos/Trios
  • Game Mascot
  • Regional Bug/Bird/Rodent/Pikaclone/psuedo-legendary/
  • Also every Pokemon needs a rarity, tell me if it should be Common/Uncommon/Rare/Only One/Event

From the looks of thing, Ramizar seems to be intended as a Mythical.

Also @TM28 why didn't you link the posts for the last 4 lines?

I envision Terrarva/Wormud as taking more of a Zubat role than the regional bug, it'd mainly be a Pokemon you find in caves, but maybe also some forests and swamps. Since this is majority rule it's really out of my control here, but that's what I had in mind when I created them.

Anyway, here's my nominations:

Fire starter- Valaise/Aiserolt/Valaisus
Water starter- Platysplash/Platycurse/Platyhex
Regional bird- Falcling/Falcry/Falpierce
Regional rodent- Zigzagoon/Linoone variant
Regional bug- Hypnopillar/Hypnocoon/Hypnomoth
Pseudo-legend- Jangmo-o
Mascots- Ramizar/Innaria

Really though, I think regions can have multiple regional birds, rodents, bugs, etc., it's just a matter of which ones are more common. We've seen past regional dexes include several with varying degrees of rarity.

Also, here's some other nominations for various environments, capture methods, etc., sorted from most common to least common
Forest dwellers- Shroomish/Breloom, Canugi/Artlongi, Bounsweet/Steenee/Tsareena, Pineco/Forretress, Paras/Parasect variant, Taranoir
Cave dwellers- Terrarva/Wormud, Onix/Steelix variant, Drillbur/Excadrill, Carbink, Glarette
Surfing Pokemon- Krabby/Kingler variant, Minfall/Vapon
Fishing Pokemon- Clamperl, Prawna, Urtox/Poisurchin, Skrelp/Dragalge, Dhelmise

Was hungover ha.

Will be updating with all the noms. And...

Beldum - Rare BST 600

Dedenne - Common BST 431

Porygon - Prize (slots) BST 535

You can also nominate Pokemon to be a Legendary, however I think we should have a max of like 8 or so Legendary, including the 5 we already have.

And BSTs may as well be thought about too. For reference, Arceus has 720, whilst Sunkern has 180, so try judge along those lines.

@TM28, Celloxious could be a broken computer mouse leaking acid. :p

Or a cell phone Pokemon.

Give it an evolution with Explosion and Self-Destruct named Poisonote. Of course, the only way that could work is if Poisonote were #7 in the Pokedex :p

I'd like if there were a tundra-coastline area in this region with ice floes. And in the deep snow, you could encounter Pokemon like with deserts and their deep sand areas. In the snow would have to be Embrakid, Cubchoo, Spheal, Sealeo and Toxicle (in that order for rarity, I guess).
