Edward couldn't help but laugh at this. "I said cuddle, but I'm just messing," he pointed out as he stood up from the table. "Though speaking of, if you're gonna be staying here I gotta go set up your stuff for when you sleep."

"Well...some people say it's good to see the humor in things?" Alistair asked, shrugging slightly.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"You do, and my sister," Kari spoke, specifically mentioning her sister.

"I suppose it can be."

 

[Flaze]

"Right, come with me," Edward got up from hsi seat, motioning for her to follow.

"So, ready to go back?" Alistair asked as he stood up.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

Kari just quietly stood up and followed Edward.

"Sure," Rose replied as she stood up. "I hope my sister isn't too traumatized."

 

[Flaze]

After a few minutes Edward had set up a bed from the couch in the living room along with blankets and pillows. "You wouldn't mind sleeping with Rose right?"

"She...should be fine," Alistair pointed out, a bit uncertain.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"We're sisters," Kari spoke, "I don't think so."

"Do you want to see her reaction if she sees a guy without a shirt on?" Rose laughed.

 

[Flaze]

"Then you're set," Edward pointed out, standing up from the bed as he walked next to Kari.

"Will it be funny?" Alistair asked with a chuckle.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"Yeah, I guess I am," Kari commented, not sure really what would happen next.

"I feel bad for her, so that's enough of an idea," Rose laughed.

 

[Flaze]

"Well then, I guess we better hurry up before anything happens right?" Alistair suggested with a chuckle as he stood up.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"Yeah," Rose nodded.

 

[Flaze]

"Do you want me to accompany you to work tomorrow by the way?" Alistair asked curiously.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"I'd rather you keep an eye on my sister," Rose spoke up.

 

[Flaze]

"But what about you?" Alistair asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"Cause if I had to choose between her safety and mine," Rose started speaking with a serious look on her face, "I would rather have her safe."

 

[Flaze]

"You really are a great sister aren't you?" Alistair asked, smiling at her. "How long have you two been on your own?"

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"Since we were basically kids," Rose answered.

 

[Flaze]

"Oh...what happened to your parents?" he asked with concern.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"They died," Rose answered solemnly, "House fire. Kari and I weren't home at the time. My other sister wasn't around either, so we three managed to escape. I spent most of my life raising Leah and Kari. Leah's studying abroad right now, so it's just Kari and I for the most part."

 

[Flaze]

"Oh," Alistair said in realization, looking at Rose nervously for a bit. "Sorry for bringing that up."

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"It's alright," Rose answered simply. It really wasn't something she liked talking about, but she had done it nonetheless.
