(Sorry for the delay, finals + the holiday season kept me from posting.)

Once the group split, they would each find themselves at two separate camps. One of the groups would be in a larger camp, utterly devoid of anyone. Things were strewn about the ground, but not a single person was in sight.

Well, nothing except for a few more of those beasts patrolling the camp grounds.

On the other hand, the other group walked into a camp devoid of nothing but computers still set up. It seemed to still be in working order.

Now came the difficult part - communication between the two would be stunted as a result of that action.

(OOC: What group is where will be up to you.)

@Vanellope Von Schweetz @Hanzo in Plain Sight @Alolan Ninetales @Prez @Akame @Lone_Garurumon @WolfOwl

As it turned out, Xin ended up at the larger camp, nibbling on a piece of bread with her katana blade in her other hand. She seemed awfully nonchalant about the whole situation.

Delilah had put herself at the larger camp, her bow and arrow ready to defeat any beasts that came her way. This seemed to be more of her element.

(Hey guys, keep in mind that you'll be able to post your own fights with the creatures.)

Kalyani's attention was on the full camp. It didn't occur to her that she should be paying closer attention to the one that wasn't full. Something definitely wasn't right; things were far too quiet there.

That would've been the smart choice, considering that in the very next moment, the group in the larger camp would find themselves face to face with a hulking beast.

It stalked from the trees, growling before walking very slowly toward them. Its head held a large, blade-like horn and its teeth were razor sharp. Its entire body seemed to be humanoid, albeit with an inordinate level of muscle. The lower body was distinctly animal, possessing talon-like toes and a large, lashing tail.

"What. Is. That?!" Kaly yelled out.

The beast, however, gave them no time to ponder, rushing in immediately at the nearest target - that being, Xin.

While nibbling on the loaf of bread, she narrowed her eyes and expertly rolled out of the way. She primed the katana blade for a slash, crouching with her muscles tensed.

"You want my bread? Fuck off, 'cause you can't have it."

With that, she was gone in a blur, rushing the monster with deadly precision.
