I agree that Nina was pretty lackluster and uninteresting. And I never understood motivations behind the whole "paradise" hooplah that Lusamine was so obsessed about, it looked pretty gross/unapealing to me.

And I have to say that I really didn't like Gladion. He's such a angst filled whiner that it turned me off immediately, even after he improves and warms up over the course of the game. And that stupid pose that he makes whenever you talk to him was really dumb (insert MY SWORD HAND TWITCHES)

I still can't help but think of him as Dark Flame Master. It's considerably more annoying than that thinky pose Steven keeps pulling in ORAS. At least that looked sort-of natural, even if he did do it at any given opportunity

I've known way too many teenage boys exactly like him. That only made me more annoyed at him.
