Make sure to catch Pokémon GO's Winter Wonderland event, along with the Wyrdeer Raid Day, running in-game from December 23rd

Niantic earlier this week released details for two events to be held next weekend in Pokémon GO. The Winter Wonderland event, running from December 23rd at 10:00am to December 24th at 8:00pm local time; and the final Raid Day event of the year, featuring the Pokémon GO debut of the Big Horn Pokémon Wyrdeer, which will be held on December 23rd, running from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the Winter Wonderland event period:

• Up to five Special Trades can be made a day
• Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust
• 2× XP for winning Raid Battles

Additionally, PokéStop Showcases for event-themed Pokémon will be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.

Collection Challenge
Event-themed Collection Challenges will also be available as part of this event. Trainers who complete catch- and Evolution- focused Collection Challenges will be able to receive encounters with Wyrdeer, along with other additional rewards. Trainers completing a trade-focused Collection Challenge meanwhile will be able to receive an encounter with Psyduck wearing hopliday attire, along with other additional rewards.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the Raid Day:

• Wyrdeer will appear more frequently in three-star raids
• Increased chance for Trainers to encounter Shiny Wyrdeer
• Receive up to five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event and up to two hours afterward.
• The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 10 between December 22nd, at 4:00pm (PST), and December 23rd, at 7:00pm (PST).
