Obsidian Flames Battle Pass now live in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live - Log-in any time over the next 12 weeks to receive a Charizard ex deck

The Scarlet & Violet - Obsidian Flames Battle Pass is launched worldwide in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live. Players logging into the game today can also start to obtain cards from this new expansion. All players who log-in to the game over the next 12 weeks will receive a free Charizard ex deck, 7 Scarlet & Violet - Obsidian Flames booster packs, and 1,250 tokens that can be used to purchase individual cards in game. By purchasing the Premium Pass, players can also unlock a Toedscruel ex deck, a further 1,500 tokens, a set of Charizard card sleeves, and 500 coins that can be used to purchase other cosmetic items for player's decks and avatar.

Progressing through the various tiers of the free Battle Pass will unlock a variety of booster packs and cards for players decks, including multiple copies of Pidgeot ex, Squawkabilly ex, and additional copies of Charizard ex, including a Special illustration rare print of the card at Tier 50. Highlights of rewards Players who've purchased the Premium Pass can also unlock include an additional Toedscruel ex, a Special illustration rare print of Squawkabilly ex, the Crown Zenith print of Lumineon V, Secret rare prints of several common Trainer cards such as Ultra Ball, and at level 50, four copies of the Toedscool illustration rare from Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is a free-to-play app that will serve as a replacement to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, allowing players to enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game in an updated digital format. The game includes all the basic activities like building and customizing decks and player avatars, as well as gameplay modes and daily quests for all types of players, regardless of their skill level. The app currently features cards from the Sun & Moon series through to Scarlet & Violet - Obsidian Flames, with plans to extend back to the XY and Black & White Series in the future. Players around the world can access the Pokémon TCG Live on mobile devices via the App Store and Google Play, or download it for PC and Mac.

Active development on the previous Pokémon TCG Online software ceased as of March 1st this year. Pokémon TCG online was officially sunsetted in June, and the game's servers have now been permanently shut down. Players of the old Pokémon TCG Online app are able to migrate their account and game data to the new Pokémon TCG Live app, using their Pokémon Trainer Club accounts.
