Olympia & Sigilyph
Olympia, the Gym Leader of Anistar City, is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a sync pair together with their partner Sigilyph. Also launching today is a Daily Type Rotation event, Type Team-Up. This is the first Daily Type Rotation event in two years, since the end of the original Type Team-Up event in August 2021.

Olympia Spotlight Scouts
Olympia & Sigilyph make their debut in the Olympia Spotlight Scout. Olympia is the last Kalos Gym Leader to be added to Pokémon Masters EX, over three years after the second-to-last Kalos Gym Leader, Clemont, was added to the game. Her addition makes Kalos the second region to have all its Gym Leaders playable in the game, behind Kanto.

Olympia & Sigilyph are 5★ a Psychic-type Tech sync pair with an expanded sync grid, and the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ EX changes her outfit to a palette matching Meowstic, her signature Pokémon in the core series games. The pair's moves focus on boosting their stats to do high amounts of damage, while providing additional buffs and stat protection to allies. Their Swag Bag 2 Passive Skill raises the chances of their stat values increasing with additional effects of moves, allowing them to get the most of their Ancient Power move, which has a chance of raising Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed by 1 stat rank. Once their stats have been sufficiently raised, the pair can then do insense damage using either Stored Power or their Starlight Path Psychic sync move, both of which increase in power the more the pair's stats are raised.

In addition to the regular Spotlight Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of an Olympia Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3!, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

1st Time (50% off)
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Olympia & Sigilyph x5
  • Custom Sync Orb for Olympia & Sigilyph x200
2nd Time

3rd Time

Daily Type Rotation: Type Team-Up

Daily Type Rotation is a type of limited-time event in Pokémon Masters EX, involving battles that feature each type, with a new battle being added each day over the course of the event. By completing battles in this event, players can earn Tomes and Codexs for each type, as well as 100 Gems in First-Time Rewards for each battle.

The first and only previous Daily Type Rotation event ran from August 5th to 28th, 2021. While that event was also titled Type Team-Up, the event launching today has different line-ups for the trainer battles, and all rewards can be claimed even if players have completed the previous event during its original run.

The event launched today with a single battle area, Challenge the Psychic Types. Additional battle areas will open up at 11:00pm (PDT) each day over the next two and a half weeks, according to the following schedule:
  • August 4th: Challenge the Rock Types
  • August 5th: Challenge the Water Types
  • August 6th: Challenge the Dragon Types
  • August 7th: Challenge the Steel Types
  • August 8th: Challenge the Fairy Types
  • August 9th: Challenge the Grass Types
  • August 10th: Challenge the Fighting Types
  • August 11th: Challenge the Normal Types
  • August 12th: Challenge the Electric Types
  • August 13th: Challenge the Ice Types
  • August 14th: Challenge the Ground Types
  • August 15th: Challenge the Poison Types
  • August 16th: Challenge the Bug Types
  • August 17th: Challenge the Ghost Types
  • August 18th: Challenge the Flying Types
  • August 19th: Challenge the Dark Types
  • August 20th: Challenge the Fire Types
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
