Max smiled. "We should head inside. I don't want Noelle to scold me for being late again." He said after a moment's consideration.

"No, no it's quite alright." Aquila told him with a bright smile. "Your enthusiasm is infectious, I feel the same way about my chosen type." She told him reassuringly. "I do wonder when the other gym leaders will arrive, I'm excited to meet them."

 

[Flaze]

"They all have been making names for themselves lately," Aviur pointed out as he turned towards the door. "I just hope I can get along with them well."

 

[Taengoo]

"Well, I suppose I'll talk to you two during the meeting anyway. See you later." Rin bid the other gym leaders goodbye, stepping inside the League's headquarters. Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her cargo shorts, the Undella native arrived in the main room. She offered the two new gym leaders a lax, almost enigmatic smile.

"I guess at least someone knows to be on time for once, correct?" She asked, stepping towards them with a relaxed posture. "Don't worry about formalities. I hate them."

 

[Flaze]

"Oh, you must be...Rin right?" Aviur asked as he looked at the gymleader, recognizing her from the pictures and information he read for the test. "From Undella."

 

[Taengoo]

"Bingo." She smirked slightly, pointing to herself. "Tetsuya Rin. Just call me Rin, Dark-type specialist, at your service. Nice to see fresh gym leaders for once, the older ones get boring after a while."

 

[Flaze]

"Doesn't that just mean we'll get boring too?" Aviurs questioned with a raised eyebrow. "But yeah it's nice to meet you Rin. I'm Aviur, fire type specialist."

 

[Hector]

"I'm Aquila Moretti. Flying type specialist from Aspertia. It's nice to meet you Rin." Aquila introduced herself politely.

 

[Hector]

It took awhile but eventually all eight gym leaders made it inside. Once they were, a thin man with wispy white hair tapped the microphone that was clipped to the lapel of his suit. "I'm glad you all made it on... time..." An amused smile crossed his lips. "For the benefit of the new members of the league, I'll introduce myself. I'm Jonathan White, head of the Unovan Pokemon League." The position was mostly ceremonial, which was just fine for him. Ceremonies and cocktail parties were his specialty after all. Looking out at the eight leaders, he found the two he was looking for.

"Before we all sit down and things get all formal, I'd like to welcome both of you to the league. I know that the certification process is as tough as it comes... but it's because we only want the best to be officially granted a gym. And I know that both of you will do us proud." With his opening announcement done, Jonathan vanished through a back door.

 

[Taengoo]

"Bleh, boring as usual.." Rin muttered to herself, huffing slightly as the teenager crossed her arms.

 

[Prez]

Joulie simply laughed. She was horribly late. How she got away with that was... beyond her.

 

[Flaze]

Aviur looked at the other leaders that had gathered around. Now he really was feeling nervous, mostly cause he didn't really know what he should do. "Um..." he started, trying to muster the words. "I'm Aviur, an dI'll be the new gymleader of Castelia City from now on."

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

Noel just stood next to his sister as well as Uno while listening to the others.

 

[Hector]

Aquila looked nervous as well. "And I'm Aquila. Aquila Moretti." She said a bit awkwardly. "I'm going to be the new leader in Aspertia City. I train flying types."

 

[Prez]

"Flying," Joulie said with amusement. "I'll have to battle you sometime."

 

[Taengoo]

"You and I both know that's a terrible idea, Joulie." Rin deadpanned with a sigh.

 

[Flaze]

"Wouldn't that just be an easy win?" Aviur asked as he glanced towards Joulie.

 

[Prez]

"Yes," Joulie simply answered.
