Use code「GETY0URMEW」in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet to receive your very own Mew - code expires September 18th

A limited-time distribution of Mew has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet in the Pokémon Presents video presentation, as part of the broader Get Mew & Mewtwo! campaign. This distribution is available in-game now, and will remain continue through until September 18th, at 2:59pm (UTC) / 7:59pm (PDT).

This Mew comes in 18 different varieties, each corresponding to a different Tera Type, each of which has an equal 5.55% (1 in 18) chance of being received by the redeemer. This Mew has 3 maxed IVs in three random stats, and is coded never to appear as Shiny.

The Pokémon Company International have encouraged players to use the hashtag #MyveryownMew on social media, to share their adventures with Mew with other players.

Players can receive this gift by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Get with Code/Password. Players will then need to enter the code at the prompt after the game has connected to the internet. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to receive code distributions.

Mew obtained from this distribution will give players a bonus in the upcoming 7-star Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles against Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark, which will run in-game from August 31st at 5:00pm (PDT), through to September 17th at 4:59pm (PDT).
