What do you think of Ground type?

I always think about this question, How people feel about this type? Are they love it?

To me, It is one of my best type around the anime
Firstly: the ice
Secondly: Water
Thirdly: Ground

Ground one of the most powerful type I never seen in the anime. It can defeat multi types with high effective also such as Fire, Thunder no effect in it. It defeat steel, and poison, and finally it defeat rocks.

It can effect in Ground and in fight. Maybe it doesn't have any effect in fly type, but to me it is not a big deal; because it has a high level defense power to me which means it can handle fly type attack. Another point that it can use rock attack which are super effective for fly.

Ground type attack consider as one of the most powerful attack such as Earthquake. this attack can destroy any pokemon except water, ice, and grass, and three of them also are one of my best type in the anime.

Also it has a new attack for landorus which is 5/5 attack. Also it has Dig, and a lot of attacks.

So tell me please about yur opinion for this type?

Pretty decent in my opinion. Of course I always prefer Dragon types. Of course Ground type has Flygon and Garchomp so that is good for both type specialists.

Glad to see someone answered to me, finally. Anyway thanks for you answer.
To me, I hate Dragon type more than hell. I love some pokemon but not because they are dragon no, because they are cute and so friendly with Ash.

1. The best is kyurem. He is so special. His way in walking, his is ICE Type so I love it
2. I love Flygon, vibrava, Gible, and its evolutions; becuase they are cute and friendly with Ash, and ecause they are ground.
3. I love The Zekrom and The reshiram, because they are friendly and reshiram is so cute.
4. Finally, I love the two Dragon pokemons that Ash got them in XY.
5. Clair is the best Dragon pokemon Master to me and she is so cute also.
6. cynthia is the best one, but to me she doesn't consider as I dragon master. She is pokemon master who has a favourite pokemon and it is a dragon type pokemon.
7. Diantha Aslo is great but she such as cynthia abut dragon pokemon. She only had one, and it is not her favourite pokemon

But to me, I hate Dragon to the hell, hate Iris, and her pokemon, and hate the Village of dragons.

Thank you for answering and hope you come again and see you again
Sorry for my answer about Dragon but this how I feel about

However, Ground Type pokemon are special

Please keep this thread primarily around Ground types, if you want to shift to talking about other types like Dragon type then you're free to make another thread for those types.

Sorry I didn't meant to do that
Mister arceus the dragon answered me with mention about dragon so I answered
Sorry and thanks for advice - I hope you tell me about your opinion for dragon type too

Ground-type is definitely one of my absolute favorites. I've used so many of them through out the years. Just to list them off:
Nidoking
Golem
Rhyperior
Mamoswine
Swampert
Camerupt
Flygon
Whiscash
Claydol
Groudon
Torterra
Gastrodon
Hippowdon
Garchomp
Excadrill
Krookodile
Stunfisk
Golurk
Landorus
And I am planning on taking Mudsdale all the way to the top!

My very first run of the first game I owned had Swampert, Graveler, Camerupt, and Groudon which I partially attribute to HM use but moreso that these where Pokemon I really liked. From then on I've managed to use a good few Ground-types in each playthrough I've done. They are very versatile usually with a nice array of moves to use such as the pretty powerful Rock and Ground coverage. Having Earthquake is a requirement for so many people just because of how powerful it is with no real drawback to speak of. Ground-type being the only one strong against Electric is also a big point in favor since for certain parts of a gain it'll definitely feel like a requirement to have.

Ground has seen much representation in trainers but the ones we do have can be pretty memorable. Giovanni just speaks for himself. He's a big recognizable symbol of the Pokemon series itself and just the fact that people are still to this day realizing the pun in his name if very amusing. Bertha is the one who is definitely the least known but she's still pretty neat with some pretty sweet teams. Clay is pretty great. He's the Texan tycoon stereotype which I was happy to see presented in PokeAmerica. But he's also much more than just that stereotype. He has a deep concern over the state of his region and comes to the aid of the player many times to face the threat of Team Plasma. Definitely one of the good things about Gen V was just how involved the Gym Leaders were.

Firstly, Thank you very Miss Nala for answering and caring about my feeling. I know that I should not said and do like before, and thank you very much for answering and I am glad to see you and I want to be a great friend with you.

Secondly, About the ground, I didn't thought about taking any type. I though that I should only take fire, thunder, fly, water, grass, and rock; because that what Ash do when I played first pokemon red and blue and yellow, followed with crystal, silver, and gold. Day by day, I become know about the types, and how it nice to change for the tradition of pokemon.

I thought the rock is the one who doesn't affect from thunder when I played red, blue and yellow, followed with crystal, silver, and gold, because onix didn't affect from pikachu in yellow, and the same with geodode, and I didn't know that both are also a ground type.

Anyway, Now, the ground type become necessary for me. I love Nidoqueen so much. She is cute, strong, and can do Ice attack. I take Camerupt in Ruby. I take Flygon in the New Ruby Remake. I take multi ground pokemon so I can't remember, but I really love them. I love Krododile, and mostly I love all ground pokemon expect Exdrill and Drillbur. I take Swampert

About, giovanni, I didn't thought that he is a ground type when I played yellow, but then I they told me that he is a ground pokemon. He is the best bad leader in my opinion. About Bertha, she is so smart, and I loved her episode. I loved her pokemon in the game, and I take her best ground pokemon in the XY game. I also thought about take the horse ground pokemon in sun and moon. About Clay, I loved his way in talking in the Dub Wite, and Black games, and his personality was good, but I didn't like how he tried to fun of Ash.

Hope to see and Thank you very much for every time you put it for me

Edit:
Also Miss Nala I want to tell that I also take Golrock, fly gon also

Both are one of my best pokemons

Ground-type best type.

Ground-types tend to be bulky and strong 'mons that punch really hard, which appeals to me because I am dumb. My favorite 'mon is Rock/Water, but a significant number of Pokemon that I like are ground, like Golurk, Rhydon, Swampert, etc.

It also is a fairly strong type offensively, of course having the ever present and ever useful Earthquake, along with the fact most Ground types can learn Rock-type moves as well to give them great coverage.

Earth tends to appeal to me on the four elements spectrum, so there's that as well.

I think they're an okay type, not my favorite but I don't hate it either. I have some Pokemon I like that are Ground type like Sandshrew/Sandslash, Cubone/Marowak, and Drilbur; and I like Pokemon that have it as a secondary type as well.

At one point, I honestly wasn't fond of Ground types. I rarely used them and the only exception to that was Groudon, because it looked boss. But then came Gen V and a certain half-Ghost, half-Ground automaton line kinda changed things up for me and I became quite fond of Ground types. Now, I have to have one on my team from the very start, for they are awesome. (Can anyone guess which one is always on my team? Anyone?)

Ground is one of my favorite types! I'd consider it second to Fire. Don't know why, but I've loved it since Gen I. Probably because a lot of my favorites are Ground-types. Cubone, Nidoroyals, Rhydon, Gligar-line, Steelix, Flygon, Drilbur-line... and of course, Numel (a combo of my two favorite types)!

First of all, Please let me thank all of you for answering and sorry for late for answering you guys

I should also thank Nala one o my best friends for motivating me about completing this thread and for liking my answer also, so I hope see her also

Thank you my friend for answering my friend. Yes I love rock and water, and as I said the first type that I like is Ice, then water, then Ground. I take a Golurk, and it was so Amazing, and Rhydon, rhyhorn, and thier final evolution are also amazing in my opinion. I also take Swampurt, but I love Murwack and Nido Queen So much.

Please my friend don't be a dumb for your life my friend. Yes, about rock and earthquake, I write similar thing about them. look to what I write please:-

"It can effect in Ground and in fight. Maybe it doesn't have any effect in fly type, but to me it is not a big deal; because it has a high level defense power to me which means it can handle fly type attack. Another point that it can use rock attack which are super effective for fly.

Well, thank you my friend for answering.

About Ground type, I am happy that you like some pokemon of them and like one of my best pokemons called "Cubone/Marowak", speciall "Marowak", but to me I don't like Drilbur, and it evolve form.

Hope to see you again

Glad to hear that you become with Ground type Now, and to me I felt similar when Firstly they did Feary type, and I hope that before they do Feary type or before XY about doing a new type called "electronic pokemon type (Or technology type)", but they did a feary and I become love it to much now.

let's back to Ground type, it is one of my best type in my opnion and I am happy that you have a habit about taking a Ground type pokemon now

Hope to see you again

Ground is one of my favorite types! I'd consider it second to Fire. Don't know why, but I've loved it since Gen I. Probably because a lot of my favorites are Ground-types. I love Numel, Flygon, Gravelier, and gengar, Rhydon, and Rhyhorn, and the finall for evolution, Marwock, Nido Queen.

Krokodile, sandile, and krokorock are great also. I can't forgot Gollet, and Golrock, and phanby, and it evolution.

Finally, also their is a paplitoad, and sysmatoad also

Hope to see you again

It's definitely a useful type but personally not one of my favorites. Most of my favorite ground types had more design elements from their other type. My favorites being Golem, Nidoking/queen, Swampert, Flygon, Gastrodon, Groudon and Gliscor.

well i mean water and ice doesn't resist ground, they are supereffective against ground but doesn't resist ground, the ones that do is grass and bug and things with levitate doesn't care about earthquake either.
also such as Fire, Thunder no effect in it.
fire's neutral against ground, it's just ground supereffective against fire

Yup, they are to useful, and I hope that you will love them oneday

Now I understand, and yes. I am totally agree with you that water, and ice are super effective, but not a resisting to the ground so I did in the alpha ruby an earthquake for some Pokemon when I did sit and reaching the side of the Deserted Ship. This Ship is near the second gym in town, and I challenge some pokemon's and trainer, this in the water during the surfing time. At the time of challenging the pokemons, and trainers in the water, I used earthquake, and it did a nice job in challenging water type.

You are right about it doesn't have a much of an effect in the races, and this happened to me when I challenged red in the art gold, or soul silver, and maybe happened to me the same thing with the bug in BW or b2W2 I am not sure. However, about fire and thunder then for sure, the ground is more higher than super effective to them. When I challenged a red, and he beat most of my pokemon, do you what I did? I was challenged Charizard so I put marwack, and for sure, charizard is flying type also so i can't attack it with ground attack so do you know what I did? I used marwack because I know that red will use an flying attack not a fire attack, because ground had a good defensive body, I was depend in marwack for handling Charizard attacks, and reviving my pokemons. I also depend in marwack to handle the attack in time that I put max poitions to my pokemon that injured, or not fully recovered from revive. When Marwack was near to day by charizard I put a max poition to it and do the same until I beat charizard using a rock slide from marwack.

they are dirty, LOL
Dirty?

Did you mean dirty like a dirty pokemon, I meant to dirty pokemon for the rival? Or did you meant by that that you don't like it

Please answer me

Thank you all my dears, and hope to see you all again

wut ._.

we all know the type chart

Please answer me
just a pun for my understanding

seems like a big waste of potions
