I had a copy of Ruby I bought on clearance after I played through Emerald. I didn't get far, but I found a shiny Cascoon. It was the first shiny I'd ever found, and I never finished playing through that game.
The second was a Gulpin I found while farming leftovers.
It used to be (and I don't know about now) that they would often print multilingual versions of the game, so the same version of the game was used in multiple regions. Logistically, it makes more sense than to worry about printing the same product into 12 different versions to be sold on one...
I'm the opposite, I buy physical copies of almost all my games because I want a physical product when I purchase something.
Games like Skylanders and Disney Infinity don't appeal to me, though, because I dislike DLC-focused games and don't actually care about the figures involved with them.
You could argue that "gatr" doesn't follow proper English formatting. It's highly unusual to not have a vowel in there, and the only reason there isn't one is because there's less space for names in the English versions of those games.
Plus, they're fictional animals. Nothing is cemented...
Re: GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U announced for Super Smash Bros.: Super Smas
I really hope this means they'll be issuing new GameCube controllers. Mine are wearing out and aftermarket prices are high.
Have they finally confirmed them to be direct remakes? There was a theory early on that they could be what-if sequels -- one where Team Aqua's plans worked out in the previous game, and one where Team Magma's worked out. Removing water routes would actually be exactly what Team Magma wanted ;)
Re: FireRed/LeafGreen stuff in OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire
I think that would mean Emerald content in ORAS before anything Kanto-related. Which I'm fine with.
