Hi! I'm Zack, and I am both a gamer and a geek. Let me elaborate...

Let's start with Pokémon. I've been playing the Pokémon games since 2000, but I first got into the franchise a year earlier. My first game in the series was Pokémon Yellow Version, and I have since built up an interest in at least one version of each generation.

Needless to say that I love the Pokémon franchise (Why else would I be in Bulbagarden?), but it isn't my only favourite. I love the Super Mario and Zelda series just as much as Pokémon, with the Kirby, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus series following closely behind. Yoshi is my favourite Nintendo character, and he'd probably be my mascot if I ever decided to post videos to my YouTube channel.

I'm a fan of Nintendo as a whole, so I don't mind entries in the Game & Watch Gallery, Pikmin, Star Fox, EarthBound, Metroid, Advance Wars and Golden Sun games to different degrees; of course, I also like the Smash Bros. titles. Non-Nintendo series that I like include Sonic, Final Fantasy, Banjo-Kazooie, Spyro, Crash, Ratchet & Clank and LittleBigPlanet, and I also enjoy the Skylanders games.

Outside of video games, I'm also into tabletop gaming: my preferred choice of TCG is Magic: The Gathering, and I take a sort of open-ended approach to the colours of mana and themes I use in my decks; generally, though, I tend to lean more towards playing white and/or blue, with blue-red (Izzet), green-white (Selesnya), green-white-blue (Bant) and blue-red-white (Jeskai) being my main choices of colour to use in decks.

I'm also a Dungeons & Dragons player and Dungeon Master, and I have spent years working on a massive project to create an entire multiverse of fantasy settings; many of them have their roots in D&D, and are playable using one or more rulesets, while others are intended for use in RPG Maker. I'm a talented (though amateurish) author and artist, and these skills have helped me to begin writing an ongoing series set in these worlds; the first season, Crystals of Silveria, is written in the style of an anime program, and sets the foundation for all future seasons.

I'm also into Transformers, Power Rangers, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney, Star Wars, manga, anime...blah, blah...you get the idea. Now you have an idea of what I mean by "a gamer and a geek". Anyway, I hope you have an awesome day!
