I'm so I really should finally respond to this thread.
As some of you know I recently got a new job as an instructor at an environmental center. I work approximately 60 hours or so a week, and when I'm not working, I'm usually making on lesson plans for the coming days. That means my time here...
Sorry I've disappeared for the most part. The staff have been working on two separate but time consuming projects that y'all will be hearing about very soon. After that all blows over I'm going to return some of my attention to this at least long enough to train someone to take over for me.
I was trying to let this die quietly
I had finals last week, was at the beach with no internet this week, and I am graduating on Sunday. But I will try to update tonight or perhaps tomorrow.
So as not to clog the main game thread, I don't mind current, past, or future players using this thread to discuss the game in any capacity. Just an fyi
Just for a sneak peak behind the scenes, I thought y'all might be interested to know that the current level has undergone several stages of development. I cut out the entire first round basically right before typing up the OP. I was going to make you guys fight a swarm of Zubat but I figured...

Sure thing!
@Elementar @Kazekage @jackatlasred @Yours Truly
First of all welcome your new player, Yours Truly!
So now that you're all confirmed to continue, please also confirm your classes and stat boosts (if you are selecting a new class, you will receive two bonus points). Additionally let me know if...
My original idea was that players would die consistently enough that I wouldn't need more than 4 at a time, but it's proving difficult to balance in a way that the fights feel beatable but there's always a danger of dying. So I might have to give in and just rebalance with an extra person thrown...
So with the first "real" level almost over, I'd love to hear some more feedback on how the game is going for y'all. I'm really dedicated to making this as fun for everyone as possible, so hearing your thoughts are super helpful for me.
If it helps, I've put together a few questions for people...
Not a bad idea, it might be tricky getting the mechanics down so that they're distinct functionally and fun to play. But yeah I'll keep that one in mind.
Might be a bit annoying to base an entire character around, I doubt it would be a ton of fun for the player to rely on taking hits. But that...
