Aw.. that Mearanie looked so adorable after it grabbed onto its face. On the other hand, they finally show Mimikyu after so long. Mearanie maybe could evolve into Toxapex at one point, but I think it'll probably stay a Mearanie.

Technically, it's been 10 years since he's caught a Pokèmon with the gag of affectionately hurting him. It's just been 7 years since the gag was used.

I doubt Mime Jr. is ever going to return. It's been gone for two whole series straight so it doesn't make any sense to bring it back.

I'm fine with James getting another Pokémon this early as long as they don't pull that XY crud last time with him not getting any party changes for pretty much the entire series.
