After reading up on graveyard, I feel like we both played kinda terrible... I mean we made it work into this result in our own way, but it was very far from the spirit of the setup :(
A guide made by someone who randed town 5/5 and could tell at the end of GO Rush it WILL be a problem when he rands scum, but did it anyway just to LOOK normal :(
I unfortunately was not posting much thoughts until I could tell reasonably well there was no Spy. Also the earlier phases were much more active and I did not have time, also I did not want to give Dawning/toast ideas they could not reasonably develop from the thread, or being seen as "viewing...
Sorry, it was the best idea I could think of at the time to get you out and keep helperman around.
Glad I got to play with you for the first time, you were good town despite being lynched for all the wrong reasons, I could actually tell your posts were helping townread a previously liability...
You were not my first idea of a target, I was considering Potato the most that night, but I did get afraid someone in the PoE would get the role and get a free clear with it, I also got a bit afraid you could swing vote counts beyond salvaging, it just felt safer at the moment.
Yeah, another problem with our crazy recent softing meta: I thought I HAD to soft since n0 to be believed, when Town Emperor and how promotion works were revealed in d1 start proper: had these been revealed at the same time I received role PM, I probably would have started softing another fake.
Oh right, I have no idea what the scum promotions would do.
The whole shtick about it being anti-swing after 2 scum died etc was made up: the real clause was N+2 town/N mafia, which was the exact opposite, accelerating the pro-scum swing. I am pretty sure had the game played differently...
If I may ask, what exactly was helperman? Also I really would appreciate being added to Neighbors chat, see the Jamie soft thought process and which part he strategically hid.
Early town MVP was split between Human with the traditional reads, then after his death Jamie carried it with the claim...
Yeah in retrospect, wasting the 1 Janitor shot on D1 was bad, but back then I thought Dawning/toast were still salvageable and confusion over whether the lynches succeeded or not would prevent them from being scumread too soon, then mass softclaim flavorsolve ruined it. Performing a Drop on the...
Yeah I am a bit afraid I did that earlier, in trying to look town I might have given town good ideas about Dawning/toast they might have not considered.
Also my frustration on toast was a bit overacted and it was actually for him not helping much and thinking his best play to avoid the lynch...
Sorry Dawning and toast for failing you, but tbh had you tried just a bit more with the Knight/Pawn fakes I suggested we might have got this. It was a close call, I did my best, I tried to give town a challenge and when that fell apart I also gave a show, still enjoyed this game a lot! Also...
WAIT YOU ALL STILL THINK I TRIED TO KILL POTATO?
Nope, I actually killed beryl. It all looked unwinnable enough, so if there was a little chance the Neighbors were Lovers you were trying to hide from me, then Helperman No Lynching, I would go for it.
I did consider killing Potato twice, but the...
I still think the 3 Jabberwocky interaction was a bit unfair to scum, but any single modkill would change way too much. Nameclaims by omission are a nasty problem with these setups.
