Currently we have info about users at the side when they make a post.

For particularly small posts, the info exceeds the post itself and so unnecessarily causes the page to be longer then normal. If the info is at the top, less space is needed.

Would it be possible to have this feature in the future?

vBulletin has two thread modes, and we're using the "legacy" version (which puts the user info to the left), while the other puts the stuff above the post. I think it isn't possible to set this setting separately for each user.

Actually, Pokécommunity allows a choice between "Legacy" and "Standard." Of course, I have no way of knowing how they set this up.

If I find out how they did it (say, an addon or something), would it be okay for me to suggest it?

I personally like it on the left. More compact that way :D

But yeah, the option should probably be there.

I've done some searching on the vbulletin modification forums and I found a mod for vb4.

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=250423

I'm not sure if it is the same one as Pokécommunity uses; I don't have a vbulletin license so I couldn't see the screenshots enlarged.

I've contacted those in charge of Pokécommunity also, so hopefully I get a reply and we can see which one they used.

Edit: Recieved a reply.

There isn't a specific mod we used.. it's just a setting in vB options (plus including the template in your theme/styles) we enabled.
