Simple Questions and Answers Thread for BST! (Read First Post)

Well, i used a 4/0 defensive spread, though apparently people do run full specially defensive toads, which I find stupid since you have vaporeon on a rain team to do that. Anyways, timid specs does 59.6% - 70.2%, modest specs does 65.2% - 77%, modest scarf does 43.5% - 51.6% (almost never a 2ko, and you are running modest on a scarf set which needs speed), timid scarf does 39.8% - 47.2%.

Hello everyone! I'm pretty sure I post this year, I'm not quite sure because the rules and thread opinion conflict - so here we go...
Alright, so I consider myself a semi-competitive gamer. I IV breed and EV train, but when it comes to SRing, I tend to stop at "good enough." And I don't like ARing for anything, or messing with my RNGs. And I didn't feel like SRing for Thundurus, so here is what I ended up with:
Thundurus - Bold (-Atk +Def)
PROS: -Atk nature, 57-59 power HP Ice, SpA Def SpD IVs are all over 25.
CONS: No +Spd or +SpA nature, HP and Spe are both under 5.
Now, here's the question: what do I do with it? My first thought was abusing Prankster
Prankster Set
Thundurus @ Leftovers
Substitute
Toxic
Protect
Thunderbolt
EVs: 252 HP, 258 split between Def/SpD (need help on exact split; thinking about using Smogon Def calculator at 50/50)
However, this set kind of dies to Taunt, and doesn't use HP Ice (although its power is admittedly not the best). However, to balance this out, I am not around competitive gamers (although a few do EV train), and the probability that Taunt would be a huge threat is slim.
Thanks for any and all advice!

Hey guys, what exactly does cloud nine do? Does it get rid of weather or just, like get rid of the 50% boosts/ drops/ damage per turn?

Any of the benefits per turn, like Hydration, Chlorophyll, Rain Dish etc.

What does RMT mean?

Rate my Team. It's where you post your full team, and you can get constructive criticism from other members of the forums. It's really good since you get your team evaluated from a different perspective.

Okay cool.

Here it says that I have to say a pokemon's nature, but what if I don't have the pokemon yet? Does it really matter if I add it?

yes, you should plan for which nature your going to use, natures can change battles greatly.

How does Speed Boost Blaziken performs in OU?
I figure it'd be best to bring it out late game, after taking out possible threats...

Tailwind (unsure 'bout this one)

Thoughts please.

Need a good Gen V team,any suggestions?

I really would like someone to suggest a few GEN V Pokemon to make a team with.
I'd like them to have some good stats, like Attack,Speed, etc
Movelists would be nice aswell.

I'd also like Nickname suggestions!

So if you can, give some ideas and I'll try to get em!

Re: Need a good Gen V team, any suggestions?

Hm, would this be for a competitive team, or a basic playthrough team that can destroy the Leaders/N/Ghestis?
