The next past generation first partner evolution to appear in special Tera Raids will be the Blaze Pokémon Blaziken, who will be making its first appearance in 7-star Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles between January 12th at Midnight (UTC), and January 14th at 11:59pm (UTC), with a follow-up appearance one week later from January 19th at Midnight (UTC), and January 21st at 11:59pm (UTC).

The Blissful Bonanza! Daily Battle Event, which hasn't been seen since before Pokémon Masters EX's 4 year anniversary celebrations, is finally making a return to the game this month, once again offering players the opportunity to earn a variety of bonus rewards, including Gems and 5★ Scout Ticket. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Ranked Battles Season 14 has now begun, and will run through to January 31st, at 11:59pm (UTC). This season follows the new Regulation Set F, which expands the list of allowable Pokémon to include those found in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk. Niantic has announced that the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic event will feature the Virtual Pokémon, Porygon. During this event, which will be held on January 20th, between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time, Porygon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and its Shiny variant will also be available to be encountered.

In a repeat of 2023's New Year's Gem Present, all players who log-in to Pokémon Masters EX between December 31st, at 10:00pm (PST) and January 7th, at 9:59pm (PST) will be entered into a draw to receive a share in a giveaway of over 200 million Gems. All players who log-in during this period will receive a minimum 300 gems, with 10 First Prize winners taking away a whopping 60,000 gems each.

As previewed in the recent monthly update from the game's developers, a brand new Egg Event, A Jolly Trio, is making its debut today in Pokémon Masters EX, showcasing Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield's Galar region. This event will run through to January 9th, at 9:59pm (PST).

As part of the Day 1 live stream for this weekend's Pokémon Champions League tournament in Kyoto, Pokémon TCG fans have received their first official look at the upcoming Wild Force and Cyber Judge expansions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, scheduled for release in Japan on January 26th, 2024. This expansion will see the return of ACE SPEC cards, as first announced earlier this year during the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony.

Pokémon Sleep might be designed to help people get better sleep, but players certainly aren't going to be getting any rest from events in the near future. Hot on the heals of the Holiday 2023 — Double Dream Shard Research event that's currently running in-game, a New Year 2024 event will begin starting Monday January 1st, giving increased Sleep EXP to player's Pokémon, as well as bonus sleep points. Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, will soon be releasing its final music video for 2023, with the music video for JUVENILE / 初音ミク feat. じん (JUVENILE / Hatsune Miku featuring Jin) set to premiere on Jin's official YouTube channel this Friday, December 22nd, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST).

The latest Pasio Special Stadium event has now launched in Pokémon Masters EX, featuring battles against Champion Leaf. In this event, which will run until January 3rd, 2024, at 9:59pm (PST), players will challenge a team comprised of Flint, Malva, Shauntal, and Olivia, lead by Champion Leaf from the 4 year anniversary celebrations earlier this year. All five of these trainers share the same Water-type weakness. Updates have also been made to scoring for the Pasio Special Stadium.

Following on from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's update to Version 3.0.0 last week alongside the release of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Mask, a Poké Portal News update has issued a rare acknowledgement for two bugs reported by players, along with a statement clarifying how these issues will be addressed.

Christmas is right around the corner, and in celebration, Pokémon Masters EX will be seeing a rerun of last year's Shine a Gentle Light Story Event. A collection of Seasonal Sync Pairs from the last 4 years are also making their return in a set of Seasonal Scouts.
