In a series of updates posted late last night Japan time, Pokémon Trading Card Game fans have received their first official look at the upcoming Shiny Treasure ex subset, scheduled for release in Japan on December 1st. The first High Class Pack for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Shiny Treasure ex will feature mainly reprints of previously released cards, with a focus on Pokémon ex cards. Various Pokémon cards in this set feature artworks that were previously exclusive to English-release SVP Black Star Promotional cards. Shiny Treasure ex also introduces Shiny Pokémon cards to the Scarlet & Violet Era.

To mark the Halloween holiday, Pokémon Sleep will be running its first full fledged in-game event other than the Good Sleep Days that are held every lunar month. Halloween 2023 - Double Candy Research will start on October 30th, overlapping with the final day of the upcoming Good Sleep Day event, which starts October 28th.

Pokémon GO's celebration of the spooky season continues with the game's latest Incense Day event, which runs tomorrow, October 21st, between 11:00am and 5:00pm local time. Suitably for the season, this Incense Day event will focus on a selection of creepy and/or crawly critters, including Skorupi and other Bug- and Poison- type Pokémon.

Today's update on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese homepage has revealed most of the remaining new cards from the upcoming Ancient Roar and Future Flash expansions for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, which will be released in Japan at the end of next week on October 27th.

Pokémon Masters EX today takes a brief break from all of the Halloween festivities, with the launch of a brand new Extreme Battle event featuring trainers from a range of different regions, plus a name so long that it can't even properly fit in the in-game news listing. The developers have also issued a notice regarding compatibility issues with Android 14.

Cards from this set, and it's partner Future Flash, will be released internationally as part of the Scarlet & Violet: Paradox Rift expansion on November 3rd.

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, will soon be releasing the fourth of 18 music videos, with the music video for the song from Vocaloid producer PinocchioP (ピノキオピー) set to premiere this Friday, October 20th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am UTC / 2:30am (PDT). The song itself appears to have two separate titles, both of which appear on the title card. In Japanese, as per the official announcement post on X, the song is named 「ポケットのモンスター」(lit. "Pocket Monster"). The title attached to the video on YouTube however is the separate English name of The Pokémon Inside My Heart feat. Hatsune Miku.

Today's livestream on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese YouTube channel has officially unveiled the Full Art SR version of the Tulip Supporter Card, which will be released in Japan at the end of next week on October 27th as part of the Future Flash expansion for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Cards from this set, and it's partner Ancient Roar, will be released internationally as part of the Scarlet & Violet: Paradox Rift expansion on November 3rd.

Niantic's celebration of the spooky season continues with the start of Pokémon GO's Halloween 2023 Part I event tomorrow, October 19th, at 10:00am local time. This event will continue through until the beginning of Part II on October 26th, at 10:00am local time. The Grave Dog Pokémon Greavard and Houndstone will both make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of this event, along with Shiny Phantump.

Halloween is right around the corner, and in celebration, Pokémon Masters EX will be seeing a rerun of last year's Otherworldly Encounter Story Event. A collection of Seasonal Sync Pairs from the last 3 years are also making their return in a pair of Seasonal Scouts.

The dates for Pokémon Sleep's third Good Sleep Day event have now been confirmed. The event will run from Saturday October 28th through to Monday October 30th. Good Sleep Day events are being held in Pokémon Sleep once every lunar month, starting the day before the full moon, and ending the day after.

The Happiness Pokémon Blissey will once again be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet between October 20th, at 00:00pm (UTC), and October 23rd, at 11:59pm (UTC). As with its previous appearance, Blissey will be appearing in both versions of the game, and will be available in a wide array of Tera Types, including rare Tera Types for this species.

Continuing on from the recent launch of the new The Haunted Museum story event in Pokémon Masters EX, Lenora & Watchog are making their debut today in a set of Spotlight Scouts. Roxanne (Fall 2023) & Runerigus also recently made their debut in a new Seasonal Scout. These scouts will all be available until October 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT).

As part of The Pokémon Company International's ongoing celebration of Pokéween, select GameStop across the United States and Canada are distributing free code cards for an Electric-Tera Type Mimikyu that can be redeemed in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. These GameStop distributions have begun today, and will continue through until October 29th, or while supplies last. These same code cards are also being distributed to attendees of the Brazil Game Show in São Paulo, which continues until this Sunday October 15th.

The Pokémon Company has launched a new Theme for the LINE app called Pokémon yonayonaGhost, featuring Hisuian Zorua along with a plethora of Ghost Pokémon in celebration of the spooky season. The theme can be purchased in the LINE shop for ￥370 in Japan, or in other countries at the local currency equivalent of the USD$2.99 price tier.

An obvious pun reference to Miraidon, this song's title translates in English as I wonder what the future will be like. The music video for the song will premiere this Friday, October 13th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am UTC / 2:30am (PDT).
