Niantic has announced that special postcards will be distributed in several cities across countries in the Asia-Pacific region on the Stufful Community Day on April 23rd, between 2:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. local time.

Niantic has announced details of the 2022 edition of the annual Sustainability Week event in Pokémon GO, which will be held from April 20th at 10:00 a.m. to April 25th at 8:00 p.m. local time. The Sage Pokémon Oranguru, and Cherubi's Shiny variant, will each be making their Pokémon GO debut in this event.

Niantic has announced that a real-life ticketed event will be held in Okinawa, Japan, in addition to the global collaboration event. This event will be held on May 7th and May 8th, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on both days. Unlike the global collaboration event, all players must have a ticket to receive event bonuses. These bonuses will not be active without a ticket even if the Trainer is in Okinawa, Japan.

A Pokémon GO event has been announced in Thailand to celebrate Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year. From April 13th at 9:00 a.m. to April 17th at 9:00 p.m., Limited Research tasks will be available when players spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. When these Limited Research tasks are completed, players will encounter Water-type Pokémon. A 2× Catch XP bonus will also be active during the event, and special bundles will be available for purchase in the in-game shop.

After the success of the Community Day meetups in March featuring Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew, Niantic has announced that the Pokémon GO April Community Day featuring Stufful, will also feature Community Day meetups. To celebrate Earth Day, Niantic will also be working with a non-profit partner to plant a tree for every Trainer who adventures 5 km on Stufful Community Day (up to US$100,000).

Niantic has revealed more details on the Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Seville event, which is being held from May 13th to 15th, in Parque del Alamillo, Seville, Spain. Alongside information about specific activities and Pokémon that will be available at this in-person live event, it's also been announced that individual Trainers will only be allowed to purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event.

Niantic has announced a new event in Pokémon GO to celebrate the beginning of Spring. Spring into Spring will take place from April 12th at 10:00 a.m. to April 18th at 8:00 p.m. local time. Togetic wearing a flower crown, Togekiss wearing a flower crown, Lopunny wearing a flower crown, and Tapu Bulu will all make their Pokémon GO debut during this event.

A new Mystery Gift event for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl has begun. From now until May 1st, at 5:28 a.m. JST, the Member Card key item will be distributed to players via Mystery Gift download. This item can be used to start an in-game event that will allow Trainers to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai.

Another Team GO Rocket takeover is happening right now in the All-Hands Rocket Retreat event in Pokémon GO. This takeover will end on April 7th, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Salandit and Salazzle, the Toxic Lizard Pokémon, are making their debuts in Pokémon GO as part of this takeover event.

The Imitation Pokémon, Sudowoodo is appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield through April 2, 2022, at 8:59 a.m. JST. Very rarely, the Shiny variant can also be encountered.

Niantic has announced a new type of event in Pokémon GO, called the Pokémon GO Partner Research. These events will held in collaboration with different participating Pokémon GO official partners, with different participating partners to be announced every in-game season. Players who have these participation ticket with a promotion code can claim them in-game to receive event-exclusive Timed Research tasks. By clearing these tasks, players can receive items and encounter Pokémon. The three partners announced for the Season of Alola are Sushiro, Tully's, and Yoshinoya.

Several events featuring Ditto have been announced for Pokémon Café ReMix across the month of April. The game will also feature a special start screen for these events, which will be active until April 27th.

Ditto are everywhere in Pokémon GO's April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 event. Professor Willow, or is it Ditto?, has a Special Research for Trainers to claim until 11:59 p.m. local time on April Fools' Day.

Niantic has announced the dates for Pokémon GO Fest 2022. The event this year will be held as a two-day global event on Saturday, June 4th, and Sunday, June 5th, with a bonus finale event on Saturday, August 27th. In-person Pokémon GO Fest events will also be held for the first time in nearly three years.

Niantic has announced that the second Pokémon GO Community Day Classic event will feature Mudkip. During this event, Mudkip will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and its Shiny variant can also be encountered. The event will be held on April 10th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Niantic has released details of Pokémon GO's monthly update for April 2022. These events are scheduled to take place between Friday, April 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) to Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).

Niantic has announced that the Flailing Pokémon, Stufful will be making its Pokémon GO debut as the featured Pokémon for April 2022's Pokémon GO Community Day. During this event, Stufful will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and its Shiny variant will also be able to be encountered. The event will be held on April 23rd. Community Day events will be reverting back to the three-hour format starting from April, running from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

In partnership with the Japanese Red Cross Society, Niantic Japan has announced that 45 blood donation centres across the Kantō and Kōshin'etsu regions are being added to Pokémon GO today as PokéStops. These PokéStops, which show images of Chansey, can be spun by trainers to obtain various in-game items, including Poké Balls and specially-designed Gifts.

The Puppy Pokémon Yamper is now available in Pokémon Café ReMix through the Pelipper Delivery feature. The probability of it being served drinks and dishes to recruit it is currently being raised until March 27th, at 2:59 P.M. JST.
