Pokémon Legends: Arceus has received an update to software Ver. 1.1.0, "Daybreak". In addition to bugfixes, the Daybreak update adds additional content that will be available after viewing the game's end credits. In this update, Trainers will begin investigating mysterious mass outbreaks of Pokémon that are popping up all over the Hisui region. Players will also have a chance to battle powerful opponents, like Legendary Pokémon and wardens.

A new Mystery Gift event for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl was revealed in the Pokémon Presents livestream broadcast on February 27th. From now to March 27th at 7:59 a.m. (PDT), an item called Oak's Letter will be distributed. As with the event-exclusive key item of the same name that was distributed in a wi-fi event for Pokémon Platinum in 2009, after receiving Oak's Letter, players can use it to start an in-game event that will allow them to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin.

In the Pokémon Presents that was broadcast on February 27th, Duraludon was announced as the next Pokémon to be added to the roster in Pokémon UNITE.

Several events in Pokémon Café ReMix were announced in the Pokémon Presents livestream broadcasted earlier today for Pokémon Day 2022, as well as on the official Pokémon Café ReMix Japanese website.

In the Pokémon Presents broadcasted February 27th, it was revealed that more Pokémon from the Alola region will be appearing in Pokémon GO beginning March 1st, at 10:00 a.m. local time. These Pokémon first appeared in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games. The next season for Pokémon GO was also announced: Season of Alola. This season will feature a full three months full highlighting various Pokémon from the Alola region as they make their Pokémon GO debuts.

To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the release of Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Green Version in Japan, Trainers in the US and Canada can visit a participating GameStop store in their region to pick up a special code card that will let them add a Hisuian Growlithe to their team in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as well as granting them 20 Feather Balls. No purchase is required to receive a code card, but the offer is only good while supplies last.

The long delayed Pokémon GO collaboration to commemorate the launch of Pokémon Air Adventures has finally been rescheduled, and will now be taking off from March. The event was originally scheduled to start from July 22nd, 2021, but was postponed due to the then ongoing increase in COVID-19 cases in Japan, and around the world. In addition to special Wild Pokémon encounters and PokéStops in Okinawa, Japan, trainer's worldwide will be able to participate in a global collaboration event in May.

The Gigantamax forms of the final evolutions of the First Partner Pokémon of the Kanto region, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, will be appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield through February 28, 2022 at 8:59 JST. Trainers will receive Max Mushrooms when they defeat or capture the Pokémon. This event is to celebrate Pokémon Day 2022, the 26th anniversary of the release of Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Green Version in Japan. To encounter these Pokémon in a Max Raid Battle, you'll need to connect your Nintendo Switch system to the internet through the Y-Comm or by selecting Mystery Gift in the X menu, then selecting Get the Wild Area News. After that, whenever you see a pillar of light shining from a Pokémon Den in the Wild Area, you can walk up to the Pokémon Den and interact with it to start a Max Raid Battle. This event does not affect the Pokémon encountered within Dynamax Adventures.

A teaser image from the official Pokémon Café Mix Twitter account has revealed that Shiny Starly can appear as a Customer Pokémon in Pokémon Café ReMix from February 23, 2022 onward. An event will start on the same day, where Shiny Starly have a higher chance of appearing as Customer. It is not yet known when this event will end.

Niantic has announced that the first Pokémon GO Safari Zone event for 2022 will be held in Seville, Spain, at the Parque del Alamillo from May 13th to 15th. In addition to the wide variety of Pokémon that will be appearing in the wild for trainers, Trainers who are physically present to participate in the event will be able to complete exclusive Special Research. Tickets to the event, along with more information on the specific bonuses available, are expected to be released in the near future.

Niantic has announced that several cities across Europe will be holding real-world celebrations of the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto on February 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Niantic has announced the GO Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally event in Pokémon GO, which aims to help Trainers all over the world get ready and to make sure everybody has more than enough Poké Balls for the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto event on February 26th. Hisuian Electrode will also make their Pokémon GO debut. It will be held from February 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to February 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Dress up as the Ball Guy, the iconic and mysterious character known to appear at the Galar Pokémon League, with a new avatar outfit which will be available in the shop at the start of this event. The Pokémon Company International has announced that a limited beta of Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will be available in Canada from February 22, 2022, at noon PST.

Stronger versions of Shadow Ho-Oh and Shadow Lugia, Apex Shadow Ho-Oh and Apex Shadow Lugia, will be appearing in Pokémon GO in conjunction with Pokémon Go Tour: Johto from February 26th.

Niantic has announced the dates for the Pokémon GO Community Day events in March, April, and May of 2022. More information, including the Pokémon that will be featured at each event, will be revealed at a later date.

A teaser image from the official Pokémon Café ReMix Twitter account has revealed that the Carefree Pokémon Ludicolo will be available for players to recruit as a Staff in an upcoming Team Event in Pokémon Café ReMix. The event, which will also include boosters and items rewards, will commence on February 16th.

The Cream Pokémon, Milcery will be appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield through February 21, 2022, at 8:59 a.m. JST. Very rarely, the Shiny variant can also be encountered. All Milcery encountered will have the Gigantamax Factor. When Trainers defeat or capture Milcery, they can receive one of the Sweet item.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has received an update to software Ver. 1.0.2. This update resolves a small selection of bugs present in Ver. 1.0.1. Players are advised to download the update before continuing playing.

Flabébé, Floette, and Florges will be making their debuts in Pokémon GO this month alongside the Valentine's Day 2022 event, which will be running in-game from February 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to February 14, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. In other Valentine's related news, Hisuian Voltorb has been confirmed as being eligible for the Love Cup.
