Niantic has released details on Pokémon GO's upcoming new season: Mythical Wishes. This new season will run from December 1st at 10am to March 1st, 2023, at 10am local time. Alongside this announcement, Niantic have also released details on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in Pokémon GO during December.

A wave of Ultra Beasts will be appearing in Pokémon GO as part of global events running between now and November 27th. On November 26th, in-person events will be taking place in London in the United Kingdom, and Los Angeles in the United States. A livestream will also be broadcast on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel as part of these events, starting from November 26th at 7:00pm (PST, GMT -8).

In the lead-up to the upcoming Ultra Beast Arrival: Global event in Pokémon GO, Niantic has announced details for the Astral Eclipse event, which will begin on November 23th at 10:00am, and run through until November 28th at 8:00pm local time, after the conclusion of Ultra Beast Arrival: Global. Solgaleo and Lunala, the Sunne and Moone Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will each be making their Pokémon GO debuts during Astral Eclipse. Trainers can acquire these legendary Pokémon by using 100 Cosmog Candy to evolve their Cosmoem at day or night respectively.

Niantic has announced dates for Community Day events to be held in Pokémon GO during the next in-game Season, as well as dates for three other in-game events.

The Pokémon Company International has announced that Pokémon Trading Card Game Live beta is now available globally for download on iOS, Android, Windows PC and macOS devices. The app is currently available in six languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The beta initially opened to players from Canada on February 22nd, and was later opened to players in Mexico on May 24th. The beta was further extended to players in Australia and New Zealand from July 20th, and to Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden from October 18th.

For the second year running, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will include a holiday themed balloon featuring Pikachu and Eevee riding in a giant Poké Ball-inspired sled and wearing winter clothing. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcast in the United States live on NBC, and livestreamed on Peacock, starting at 9am in all US time zones.

The Pokémon Company International has released a new trailer which shows several new information for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Alongside the release of this trailer, the official site for these games was also updated with a range of additional information on plot elements, game mechanics, special in-game events, and early purchase bonuses. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be launched worldwide on November 18th for the Nintendo Switch.

Niantic has announced details regarding the Greedy Gluttons and Team GO Rocket takeover events which are being held this month in Pokémon GO. Shiny Munchlax and Shiny Pawniard will make their Pokémon GO debut in each event respectively.

A new Fire-Type Gear Event has just landed in Pokémon Masters EX. This co-op battles event, which allows players to obtain 3★ Fire-Type Gear, will be available until November 17th at 10:59pm (PT).

The Pokémon Company International has announced the final special expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Sword & Shield Series, Crown Zenith. It will be released on January 20th, 2023.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield's November 2022 Season for Ranked Battles (Season 36) has begun. This season will be the final Ranked Battles Season for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, and will run continuously until support for the games is ended an unspecified time in the future. Trainers competing in this season will not receive any rewards.

As we begin the new month, Niantic has given an update on the schedule of content coming to Pokémon GO during November. These events will be running from November 1st, at 1:00pm (PDT, GMT −7) to December 1st, at 1:00pm (PDT, GMT −7).

Niantic has announced that the Tricky Fox Pokémon Zorua and the Illusion Fox Pokémon Zoroark will be making their Pokémon GO debut as part of the continuing Halloween 2022 event, which is running through until November 1st, at 10:00am local time. Zorua can evolve into Zoroark using 50 Zorua Candy.

The Pokémon Company has launched a new set of animated stickers for the LINE app titled "POKÉMOOOVE!". The set can be purchased from the LINE Store for 250¥, or 100 LINE coins, for users in Japan only. The set features the Paldea First-Partner Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, alongside a variety of different Pokémon including Pikachu, Magnemite, and Rowlet.

Niantic has released full details on the upcoming ticketed Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore event, which will be running concurrently with the Pikachu Weekend in Singapore from November 18th to November 20th. In conjunction with these events, a Pokémon Air Adventures event will also be running for trainers in Singapore.

We're only a few weeks away from the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the new generation of Pokémon games set to be released for the Nintendo Switch worldwide simultaneously on November 18th, 2022. Niantic has announced details regarding Part 2 of Pokémon GO's Halloween 2022 event, which will be running from October 27th at 10:00am to November 1st at 10:00am local time. This event has brought a Halloween makeover to the game, with PokéStops and Gyms appearing decorated for both parts of the Halloween event, and a remix of the Lavender Town music playing in-game from 6pm to 6am local time daily. The Timed and Special Research introduced in Part 1 of the event also will remain available until November 1st.

Glastrier and Spectrier are appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield until October 23rd, at 4:59pm (PDT). Players who defeat them can receive many useful items that wouldn't normally be earned in Max Raid Battles. This event may possibly be the final Wild Area News to be released for Sword and Shield, with the impending release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. A notice on the Nintendo Switch News Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield channel last week stated that Wild Area News will not be updated after November 1st.

Niantic has announced that the Día de Muertos event for Pokémon GO will be returning for 2022 from November 1st at 10:00am to November 2nd at 8:00pm local time. Día de Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead, is a holiday observed in Mexico and other parts of the Americas that celebrates the lives and memories of friends and family who have moved on to the next world. In this event, Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir will each be wearing a cempasúchil crown.

Niantic has confirmed that the Little Bear Pokémon, Teddiursa will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day for November 2022. During this event, Teddiursa will be appearing more frequently in the wild, with its Shiny variant also being available. The event will be held on November 12th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.
