Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire are set to be featured in back-to-back runs as part of this weekend's Pixel Art Runners (PAR) Spring Sprite speedrunning marathon. The event is being hosted on the streamer cic_ada's Twitch channel.

The Speed Stuff 4 Charity Twitch channel will be hosting their annual marathon over this weekend. This year's event will be to support speedrunners who are financially struggling. A speedrun of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will be part of the event.

The 2024 edition of the Catch a Million charity marathon starts next Sunday April 7th, running through to Sunday April 14th. This annual event has raised over $60000 since its inception for St. Baldrick's Foundation, an organization that supports research into childhood cancer. Any and all streamers are welcome to participate in this event, no matter their channel size, level of viewership, or preferred streaming platform. Bulbagarden will itself be streaming 24/7 throughout Catch a Million 2024, with a rotating crew of Bulbagarden staff baton passing to each other to keep the catches and donations going at all hours of the day and night.

Speedcon will be holding the 2024 edition of their on-site marathon out of "Club Spartacus" at the Freiland Potsdam in Potsdam, Germany over this Easter weekend, from March 29th to March 31st. A run of Pokémon Scarlet/Violet will feature in the event, which can be watched from the event's Twitch channel.

iateyourpie returned on Monday March 18th, 2024 with the latest incarnation of his Ironmon challenge run series, with his first stream of Super Kaizo Ironmon peaking at over 5000 viewers. Ironmon has been a popular challenge run for streamers since its conception in 2020, particularly the Kaizo ruleset. It can be described as a cross between a randomizer and a permadeath challenge, wherein Pokémon that have fainted can no longer be used, with many additional rules and restrictions tacked on to make it even more difficult for the sake of difficulty and entertainment to stream viewers. Ironmon challenges are not related to the Nuzlocke challenge.

Multithon 2024 is being held this week from March 14th to March 17th, with an additional preshow on the 13th. This year's marathon, which is raising money for BluePath Service Dogs, will feature both Pokémon Red and Pokémon Emerald, alongside Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX in a multiworld format using Archipelago. The event's stream will be active on the Multithon Twitch channel from 9:00am (PDT) to around 12:30am (PDT) each day if the event.

The speedrunner toronite will be performing two runs of Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color as part of the 24 hour Gamers Against Cancer charity speedrunning marathon, starting Saturday March 9th at 9:00am Pacific Standard Time. The runs will be streamed live on the event's Twitch channel.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and the Japanese WiiWare exclusive Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Let's Go! Stormy Adventure Squad are set to be featured in the fifth annual Mystery Dungeon RTA FES event, which is being held this week starting today, February 22nd, and running through to February 25th. The event will be hosted on the RTA In Japan Twitch channel.

Six separate speedruns of Pokémon games are set to feature in the 2024 European Speedrunner Assembly (ESA) Winter event, which is taking place from February 17th to February 24th across two streams from Malmö, Sweden. This year's event will be raising money for Alzheimerfonden, the Swedish Alzheimer’s Foundation. The event can watched from ESA's official website, or via its main and secondary Twitch channels.

The Twitch Plays Pokémon channel celebrates its tenth anniversary this week with the launch of a brand new season, kicking off with a return to the very first game featured on the channel, Pokémon Red. In this first Twitch Plays Pokémon run of 2024, players will once again attempt to complete the game by entering button inputs in the channel's Twitch chatroom. This run is intended to kick off a series of runs in which they "intend to visit every known Pokémon region".

The Games Done Slow 2024 event, hosted by SlowRunsLive, is being held this year from February 9th to February 11th. A run of Pokémon Red/Blue will be taking place at this event, in which the runner will complete the game while obtaining all badges from eighth to first, in reverse order to how they're shown on the trainer card screen. This event is be raising money for Diskussionsforum Depression e.V., a German nonprofit discussion forum where youths and adults suffering from depression can talk with each other and network with each other to find resources and aid. Games Done Slow 2024 can be watched from the event's official Twitch channel.

Two Pokémon games are set to feature in the 2024 Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) charity marathon, which is taking place over January 14th to January 21st in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This year's event will be raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The RTA in Gunma 2024 event will be happening live from the 11th annual LAN Ran♪Gunma in ISOBE event from January 12nd to January 14th. A run of Pokémon Red and Green will feature in the event, in which the runner will attempt to complete the Diploma on both games without the use of glitches or assistance from other people. The event will be hosted on the RTA in Japan Twitch channel.

Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, and the Japanese-exclusive WiiWare title Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Let's Go! Stormy Adventure Squad will feature in the VrTuber Raid RTA marathon, which is being held this weekend on January 6th and 7th (JST), and will be hosted by Japanese speedrunner icarus (イカロす) on their Twitch channel.

Pokémon Emerald, Pokémon Green, and Pokémon Crystal are being featured in the FINNRUNS Winter 2024 speedrunning event, which is being held this week from January 4th to January 7th, streaming live from GamePit Pro in Jyväskylä, Finland on the FINNRUNS Twitch channel. The event is being held in support of the World Wildlife Fund, and specifically the endangered Saimaa ringed seal, so that it may be seen in the wild in the future.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl and Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver will be featured in the RTA in Japan Winter 2023 charity marathon, which is being held at the Bellesalle Iidabashi First hotel in Tokyo, Japan from December 26th to December 31st (JST). This year's event will be raising money for Doctors Without Borders.

RTAinbiim are currently hosting the Winter 2023 edition of their speedrunning marathons, with the event running through to January 2nd. A run of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team will feature late in the event, on December 30th (JST/UTC) / December 29th (PST).

No Glitches Allowed (NoGA) will be hosting their annual everything-goes winter event from December 6th to December 10th. Pokémon Yellow and a multiworld randomizer Pokémon Red will both feature in the marathon, which can be watched from the group's Twitch channel. The event will be raising money for GO Rescue Pet Adoption Center, a no-kill dog shelter in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Really Really Long A Thon (RRLAT) Twitch channel will hosting a nonstop speedrunning marathon throughout December, supporting the Open Medicine Foundation. A run of PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure will be featured during the event, with the run presently scheduled for Wednesday, December 20th. The event can be watched from the marathon's Twitch channel.
