Niantic has announced full details for day 2 of the Pokémon GO Fest 2021 which will focus on Raids. It will feature every Legendary Pokémon that have ever appeared in Pokémon GO. It will take place on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Each Pokémon will be appearing in five-star Raid Battles during one of the four themed hours that will be on rotation throughout the event. During Wind Hour, occurring from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia, Virizion, and Therian Forme Tornadus will be appearing in five-star raids. During Lava Hour, occurring from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Terrakion, Therian Forme Landorus, and Yveltal will be appearing in five-star raids. The Pokémon Organized Play has announced details for the 2022 Championship Series season, under the assumption that most play will be able to resume in some form over the next 12 months. The health and safety of the communities remain to be the most important aspect of resuming live events. The timing for the next live Play! Pokémon events will be determined by the health mandates, guidelines, and recommendations provided by appropriate government agencies. Play! Pokémon events have currently only resumed in Australia and New Zealand. The Pokémon World Championships 2022 are anticipated to take place in London in August 2022, over the period of four days, beginning on a Thursday.

Niantic has announced that Tepig will be the featured Pokémon for July 2021's Community Day. The Shiny variant of Tepig can also be encountered. When you evolve Pignite into Emboar during, or within two hours after the event, it will learn the Charged Attack Blast Burn. The event will also feature a 3× Catch Stardust bonus, and Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours. A Community Day-exclusive Special Research story, Roasted Berries, will be available for purchase at US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). A special one-time-purchase Community Day Box will also be made available for 1,280 PokéCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM. The event will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Global Exhibition, a tournament featuring eight of the top players from around the world, will be held this October. The tournament will consist of the highest-ranking players from Europe, North America, Latin America, and Oceania participating in the Pokémon Players Cup IV Global Finals which will be held later this month. In Japan, the competitors will be those who have achieved excellent results in the Masters division of the Pokémon Japan Championships 2021 scheduled to be held from July 17 to July 18, 2021 in Japan. For South Korea, the winner of the Pokémon Trainers Cup 2021, which will be held from July 12 to August 2021, will be representing them.

Several retailers around the world have now announced they will distributing codes for Gigantamax Sandaconda, either online via their websites, or physically in stores. As with all similar distributions, these codes should be available for free without any purchase. The codes are available starting June 18, 2021, while stock lasts.

Two promotions are currently being held in GAME stores in the United Kingdom. One of them is to get a Scorbunny on the Ball card and another to get codes to encounter Gigantamax Sandaconda in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Niantic has reported a Bidoof Breakout is coming to Pokémon GO! Bidoof will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, and in encounters after you complete event-exclusive Field Research tasks. The event will take place from June 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to July 1, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Niantic has revealed more details for the Solstice Event coming to Pokémon GO this June, including the return of a Legendary Pokémon in five-star raids. Trainers will be able to encounter and catch different Pokémon depending on which hemisphere they're playing in.

The first-ever Legendary Arena boss, Entei, returns to Pokémon Masters EX this month. New Legendary Arena: Entei event missions are also available as part of this event, which will run until June 22nd, 10:59 p.m, giving you plenty of time to dive in and fight this fire-type boss before it disappears again.

A new online competition has been announced for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Registration for the Fair and Square competition will begin on June 2, 2021, at 10:00 p.m. PDT, and will remain open until June 17, 2021, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. The competition itself will then takes place starting from June 17, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. PDT, running until June 20, 2021, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

Pokémon GO's Season of Discovery will begin with A Very Slow Discovery, featuring Slowpoke, and the debut of Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro. Several other slow Pokémon will also be appearing during this event. The event will begin June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., and run through to June 13, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Niantic has announced the Season of Discovery, which will feature both new Pokémon never-before-seen in Pokémon GO, and new things about Pokémon we're familiar with, will be coming to Pokémon GO this June. The season begins on June 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time and will last to September 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Niantic has revealed more details on the Gible Community Day happening on Sunday, June 6, 2021. The event will start at 11:00 am in player's local time, and end at 5:00 pm.

Niantic has announced details for the Luminous Legends Y event. Following the debut of Xerneas, the other Legendary Pokémon from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, the Destruction Pokémon Yveltal will be appearing in Pokémon GO.

We reported over the weekend that a Pokémon GO Special Weekend event would be held in Mexico in collaboration with 7-11. We now know the same event will also be held in the United States and Japan, with different commercial partners, specifically Verizon (US) and Yoshinoya (Japan).

Niantic has announced another Pokémon GO and 7-Eleven collaboration event in Mexico. During the event, Trainers with an Event Ticket will be able to encounter featured Pokémon using Incense and through Field Research, receive items from Timed Research, and several other bonuses. Trainers without an Event Ticket may still enjoy some bonuses. Ways to obtain the Event Ticket will be announced on the 7-Eleven Mexico website at a later date.
