Niantic has released details on Pokémon GO's newest season: Timeless Travels, which begins this Friday on December 1st at 10:00am local time, running through to March 1st, 2024, at 10:00am local time. Alongside this announcement, we also have details on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in the month of December in conjunction with this new season.

The Pokémon Latin America International Championships of the 2023 to 2024 Play! Pokémon season took place in São Paulo in Brazil from 17 to 19 November which was the first International Championships event of the season. The Top 8 players of each division have been confirmed by the Pokémon Company International. The most popular Pokémon in teams for Pokémon GO and VGC and the most popular deck archetypes and their percentages of popularity on Day 2 of the Latin America International Championships were also shown in the livestream on the Official Pokémon YouTube Channel.

Pokémon GO's this week celebrates the upcoming end of the Adventures Abound season, as well as this season's introductionm of the new Party Play feature, with the new Party Up event, running from November 22nd at 10:00am through until November 27th at 8:00pm local time. During this event, trainers can look forward to encountering a variety of Pokémon originally discovered in the Paldea region that made their debuts during this season, along with a collection of other fan faves, plus even a Wurmple wearing a party hat!

On November 16th, starting at 9:00am (PST) / 5:00pm (UTC), the Pokémon Trainer Club will be undergoing maintance for important updates to authentication security. As a result of this maintance, all players of the Pokémon TCG Live and Pokémon UNITE will be logged out, as will any players of Pokémon GO who use their Pokémon Trainer Club to login.

The 2023 edition of Pokémon GO's Fashion Week event will be beginning this week, running from November 15th at 10:00am through until November 19th at 8:00pm local time. During this event, trainers can look forward to encountering a variety of Pokémon wearing fashionable costumes, including for the first time Dragonite, Wooper, and Quagsire. Gothita's shiny variant will also make its Pokémon GO debut during this event.

Niantic has revealed this week that the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic event, scheduled for later this month on November 25th, will feature the Wool Pokémon, Mareep. Niantic has also announced dates for multiple as-yet unannounced events being held in-game over the next season.

Niantic has revealed that Mega Garchomp will make its Pokémon GO debut as part of a Mega Garchomp Raid Day event this November 11th, running from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. Mega Garchomp's shiny variant will also be making its debut.

Niantic have announced that the annual Festival of Lights event in Pokémon GO will be running this year from November 7th, at 10:00am, to November 12th, at 8:00pm local time. This event celebrates Diwali, a five-day long festival originating in the Indian subcontinent. During this event, certain wild Pokémon will have a glowing effect when encountered during the nighttime.

Details on several upcoming events and activities in Pokémon GO across November have been announced by Niantic on their website and official account on X (formerly Twitter). over the past week, with a wide variety of events scheduled between November 1st and the beginning of December, including several events which have not yet been fully announced.

Team GO Rocket are back to their old tricks this Halloween, with the latest Team GO Rocket Takeover launching in Pokémon GO this October 26th, at 10:00am local time, alongside the second part of the Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 event. Both events conclude together on October 31st, at 8:00pm local time.

Pokémon GO's celebration of the spooky season continues with the game's latest Incense Day event, which runs tomorrow, October 21st, between 11:00am and 5:00pm local time. Suitably for the season, this Incense Day event will focus on a selection of creepy and/or crawly critters, including Skorupi and other Bug- and Poison- type Pokémon.

Niantic's celebration of the spooky season continues with the start of Pokémon GO's Halloween 2023 Part I event tomorrow, October 19th, at 10:00am local time. This event will continue through until the beginning of Part II on October 26th, at 10:00am local time. The Grave Dog Pokémon Greavard and Houndstone will both make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of this event, along with Shiny Phantump.

The Pokémon Regional Championships in San Antonio, Texas for the 2023-2024 season will be held between the 15th and 17th of December at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Centre, with registration opening on RK9 Labs from Wednesday 18th at 7:00pm (CDT) / Thursday October 19th at Midnight (UTC). This event will host tournaments for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Video Games (VGC), and Pokémon GO, with players competing to earn championship points towards qualifying for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii in August 2024.

“I don’t want to be his help,” said former Los Angeles Police Officer Louis Lozano in recently released dashcam footage, in regards to a request for backup from a Los Angeles Police Department captain. The captain was responding to a robbery inside the Crenshaw Mall which took place on April 15th, 2017, the department reports, during which time Lozano and fellow former Officer Eric Mitchell were parked in their squad car less than 200 yards away, playing Pokémon GO. Court documents reveal that the officers then drove away from the scene of the robbery in pursuit of Snorlax and Togetic.

Starting next week, Pokémon GO will be marking the changing of the seasons with a new Harvest Festival event, running from October 12th at 10:00am through to October 17th, at 8:00pm local time. The Olive Pokémon Smoliv, and its evolutions Dolliv and Arboliva, will make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of this event.

As part of Pokémon GO's celebration of the spooky season this year, Niantic has announced that a new Timed Research will unlock in-game each Thursday throughout the month of October. To participate in this event and receive these Timed Research opportunities, Trainers will need to purchase the Ticket of Treats, which will be available for purchase from the in-game shop for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency) until October 29th, at 11:59pm local time.

Detective Pikachu Returns, the sequel to 2018's Detective Pikachu on the 3DS, will be released worldwide on October 6th. To commemorate the release of the game, Pokémon GO will be running a special Detective Pikachu Returns event, commencing October 5th at 10:00am, and running through to October 9th, at 8:00pm local time. Pikachu wearing a detective hat will return to Pokémon GO as part of this event.

Niantic have released details on the next GO Battle Weekend event in Pokémon GO, which is inspired by Geeta, the Top Champion of the Pokémon League in the Paldea region from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. This event will be running next weekend from October 7th at 12:00am to October 8th at 11:59pm local time.

After accidentally spilling the beans with the announced PokéStop Showcases in the recent October Content Update, Niantic has officially confirmed that the Muscular Pokémon, Timburr will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day for October 2023. During this event, Timburr will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with its Shiny variant. The event will be held on October 15th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.
