On November 16th, starting at 9:00am (PST) / 5:00pm (UTC), the Pokémon Trainer Club will be undergoing maintance for important updates to authentication security. As a result of this maintance, all players of the Pokémon TCG Live and Pokémon UNITE will be logged out, as will any players of Pokémon GO who use their Pokémon Trainer Club to login.
On the back of the recent update to Version 184.108.40.206, which brought much needed rebalancing changes to Mewtwo (Y), Battle Pass 19 is now live in Pokémon UNITE, featuring Inteleon and Hoopa in brand new stylish Holowear. The new Battle Pass also brings with it the usual variety of new daily lessons and missions, and rewards for players to redeem including in-game currency and different booster items.
After weeks of waiting, Pokémon UNITE fans can now finally jump into battle with Mimikyu, who is available in-game now alongside the start of this year's Halloween events. Also dropping today is the Version 220.127.116.11 patch. This new patch brings with it a raft of rebalancing changes, including much needed changes to Mewtwo (Y), which players have been consistently decrying as overpowered since its launch in August.

A range of information on upcoming events in Pokémon UNITE in October has been revealed via an update to the Japanese official website, including the release date of Mimikyu, who was first revealed as an upcoming playable Pokémon during the closing ceremony of the Pokémon World Championships in August, and the game's next in-game tournament. This week, Blaziken, who was revealed in that same announcement, has joined the fray as an All-Rounder, while Mewtwo has also received a new Pokébuki Style Holowear.
Battle Pass 18 has gone live in Pokémon UNITE. This new Battle Passes launches together with the update to Version 18.104.22.168, and the start of Ranked Match Season 14. The new Battle Pass sees the return of the Pokébuki theme that originally ran in Battle Pass 7, and brings with it a variety of new daily lessons and missions, holowear, and rewards. Version 22.214.171.124 also sees severe nerfs to Mewtwo following community complaints, along with nerfs to other Pokémon such as Alolan Ninetails.

As part of the news announcements made during the closing ceremony for the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, it was revealed that three new Pokémon will be released for Pokémon UNITE over the coming months: Blaziken, Mimikyu and Meowscarada. Only one of these has been given a release date at this time, with Blaziken set to join the fray September 14th. Mimikyu and Floragato's release dates are expected to be announced in the coming months.
As announced earlier this week during the Pokémon Presents video presentation, Pokémon UNITE players can currently receive a 3-day limited license for Mew, a 3-day limited license for Mewtwo, a Platinum Mew boost emblem and a Platinum Mewtwo boost emblem, by redeeming the code 「2NDANNIVERSARY」. The Secret Agent Pokémon Inteleon has officially joined Pokémon UNITE's playable roster as of July 4th. A Ranged Special Attacker with Intermediate difficulty, the Inteleon license is available for in-game purchase now from the Aeos Emporium at a cost of 575 Aeos Gems.
The North America International Championships, the final International Championships event of the 2023 Championship Series season, are taking place this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. Fans will be able to catch all the action via livestreams on the various official Pokémon Twitch and YouTube channels, as some of the world's most talent trainers compete in the Pokémon Video Game Series, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and Pokémon GO to qualify for a place at the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, this year being held in Yokohama, Japan. The last rounds of the Pokémon UNITE regional finals will also be held this weekend alongside the main tournament events.

Details were also announced via the game's official Japanese website regarding several upcoming additions to the game coming over July, including the introduction of a new battle mode.
The Pokémon Company International has released a new trailer which shows several new information for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Alongside the release of this trailer, the official site for these games was also updated with a range of additional information on plot elements, game mechanics, special in-game events, and early purchase bonuses. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be launched worldwide on November 18th for the Nintendo Switch.
Pokémon UNITE's official social media accounts have announced that the Fairy Pokémon Clefairy and Clefable will be joining the game's roster from October 13th. While their Character Spotlight trailer does not explicitly state their Battle Style, Clefairy and Clefable were a Support Pokémon during the original closed beta. It is believed they will primarily focus on healing other team members, while operating at melee range.
