As announced earlier during the Pokémon Presents presentation for Pokémon Day, a range of scouts, events and bonuses are launching in Pokémon Masters EX to celebrate the game's 4.5 year anniversary. The monthly message from the game's producers has also dropped, providing more detail on two of the Master Sync Pairs that will be making their debut as part of these anniversary celebrations. The next developer letter is slated for late March, and will include more information regarding new events and sync pairs coming to the game in April.

During the Pokémon Presents video presentation for Pokémon Day, it was announced that an event focusing on Pokémon from the animation Pokémon Horizons: The Series will be coming to Pokémon GO. This Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event will run from March 5th at 10:00am to March 11th at 8:00pm local time. Charcadet, Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Pikachu wearing Cap's hat will all make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

As announced during today's Pokémon Presents video presentation, the three fully evolved first partner Pokémon of the Kanto region will be appearing in special Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet in a special celebration of Pokémon Day. These raids will run between Wednesday February 28th at Midnight (UTC), and Sunday March 17th, at 23:59pm (UTC).

Sleep Researchers will soon be getting their first opportunity to observe the sleep styles of a Legendary Pokémon, with a new event featuring Raikou announced for Pokémon Sleep during today's Pokémon Presents video presentation. This event is set to begin sometime during March.

In what will undoubtedly be a somewhat controversial announcement for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game dissatisfied with the performance of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, The Pokémon Company announced during today's Pokémon Presents video presentation a new free-to-start mobile app, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, which is scheduled for release later this year for iOS and Android devices. The app is developed by The Pokémon Company in partnership with Creatures Inc., who are responsible for design and planning of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and DeNA Co. Ltd., developers of Pokémon Masters EX.

Today's Pokémon Presents video presentation concluded with a short trailer announcing a new entry in the Pokémon core series, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game, which will have a simultaneous worldwide release on the Nintendo Switch, is apparently set in the middle of an urban redevelopment plan for Lumiose City, which is looking to redevelop and reshape the city to better serve both people and Pokémon.

The Pokémon Game Sound Library, which launched on Pokémon Day 2023, is receiving a special update for its first anniversary, with the addition of music from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. The Pokémon Game Sound Library allows fans to download music and musical scores from the Pokémon video game series at zero cost, for non-commercial personal use only.

The Pokémon Company International and Mattel announced today the newest addition to the MEGA construction toy line, Pokémon Ash & Pikachu: Path to Victory. The 1,646-brick set is scheduled to release on February 27th, in celebration of Pokémon Day 2024. Ash, who is the first buildable Pokémon Trainer by MEGA, will stand 12.9 inches tall when built. He and Pikachu are fully articulated and meant to be super poseable; Ash’s iconic cap can even be spun backwards to mimic his battle-ready stance in the Pokémon the Series anime.

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, is releasing a new song in celebration of Pokémon Day, Journey's Prequels, Journey's Traces (たびのまえ、たびのあと, Tabi no Mae, Tabi no Ato). The music video for this song is set to be released on the official YouTube channel of iyowa (いよわ) today, Tuesday February 27th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST).

Following on from yesterday's short message from the developers, a new version of Pokémon Masters EX, version 2.42.0, is now available to download. This update brings with it the promised major updates to the Profile Feature, along with quality of life changes to Lucky Skills, and the ability to unlock Energy caps for Sync Grids.

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week on Thursday February 29th, ahead of a planned update of the software to Version 1.3.0. This maintenance period is expected to last for roughly 4 and a half hours, from 11:00am until 5:30am (UTC). This update will implement several features and adjustments announced by the developers earlier this month, as well increasing the maximum values for Research ranks, and Pokémon, main skill, and recipe levels.

New cards for Pinsir and the Infernape evolution line, including an Art Rare card for both Pinsir and Infernape, were revealed for the first time during today's stream for the Dragon-King Battle (竜王戦 - Ryuu-oh Sen) Pokémon Tournament in Japan. The Meow Meow Meow! egg event, which first ran in late February last year, is making a return today in Pokémon Masters EX, showcasing the various forms of Meowth. Sygna Suit Steven and Deoxyxs are also making a return in a Poké Fair Scout, alongside the usual collection of regular events and presents on offer in Pokémon Masters EX for the Pokémon Masters Day monthly celebrations. Also dropping today is a short update message from the developers ahead of Pokémon Day reveals of 4.5 Year Anniversary Celebration events and Sync Pairs.

5★ Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma, who first debuted back in late November 2021 alongside The Light Devourer story event, are making their return to the game today in a set of new Master Fair Scouts running through to March 22nd, at 10:59pm (PDT). This is the third time this pair has been re-offered since their original debut.

Already available as an online exclusive, Build-A-Bear has debuted the latest addition to their Pokémon lineup. My Nintendo has added some items to their rewards store in celebration of Pokémon Day 2024, including the return of some popular items.

The multinational e-commerce platform eBay announced today that they are partnering with major Pokémon card and merch sellers on their platform for the “Catch 151” auction, which is scheduled for Pokémon Day 2024. The auctions of 151 items, including expensive merchandise from collaborations and rare Trading Card Game products, will be live beginning 12:01 am EST on February 27th and will end at 12:01am EST on February 28th. In honor of the number of Generation I Pokémon, every item included in the auction will have its price begin at $1.51 USD. The secondhand Pokémon market on eBay is immense; eBay reports that in 2023, users searched for Pokemon items more than 400 times a minute globally, on average.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are celebrating Pokémon Day giving players opportunities to catch a selection of Poké Ball-like Pokémon in Mass Outbreaks, starting Friday February 23rd at midnight (UTC), and running through until Pokémon Day itself, Tuesday February 27th, at 11:59pm (UTC).
