*Prays that this doesn't go to the HoS* Anyway even if threads are closed some of them don't go in that forum. What exactly does?

The worst of them. Simply having a thread closed does not put it in the Hall of Shame. It has to be...well, it has an intangible mix of stupid, troll, or something else.

It may be the Hall of Shame, but even it has its standards.

Go read older HoS threads to get a good idea of the level of failure needed, because some of the recent ones just seem like they shoild just have been closed.

The real question IMO is why we have a board for the worst topics but not one for the best. Really, it's only logical, and would be a great spot for reading good shit (that isn't mostly filled with random garbage, mind you; random garbage being defined as the same humor Family Guy uses). Writer's forum archive, but meh. :p

This would be good, but it'd rip the heart out of some forums. The healthcare debate has been great, for instance, but it really does belong in The Real World. Keeping good threads in good boards keeps the good boards alive.

Please note: The thread is from 15 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
