It wasn't removed, the cameras just weren't angled so you could see it. It's obviously there when Reshiram first wheels out. I'm assuming this was deliberate.

I saw this Thanksgiving morning and actually got off the couch with this huge grin on my face. Epic. Just epic.

That's what I was saying. It's really obvious since the part of the audience to Reshiram's right would act really strangely to Reshiram's missing body part.
