Chess: BMGF Edition! (12-32 players)
It was only a matter of time before one of the oldest games in the history of mankind got the BMGF treatment; so without further ado, I give you BMGF Chess. Come test your wits and strategical abilities in this epic duel. Which team will capture their opponent's King before the other? Play to find out!
Rules
1. The players will be divided into two teams: a White Team and a Black Team. Each player will be attributed a piece on the chessboard. Each team will have a King and a Queen, and at least one Knight, one Rook, one Bishop, and one Pawn.
2. Play is divided into alternating White turns and Black turns. During a team's turn, they select one of their own to attack one of the opposing team's pieces in the hopes of taking it out, while the defending team can use the special abilities of its pieces to garner information about the other team and/or counter their attack. Each turn lasts 24 hours. The first turn will be a White turn.
3. Each piece is given a numerical value. The Pawn is 1, the Knight is 2, the Bishop is 3, the Rook is 4, the Queen is 5, and the King is 6. The success of an attack is dependent on the difference between the Attacker and its target's respective numerical value. If the Attacker's value is higher than its target's, the attack is successful, and the target is eliminated. If the Attacker's value lower or equal to its target's, then the attack is unsuccessful, and the attacker is eliminated. The only exception is the Pawn; should he attack the opposing team's King or defend against an attack from the King, he would eliminate the King.
4. Each individual piece also has an action to help them garner information:
5. Should both team's Kings be the only pieces remaining, the match will end in a draw.
6. Each team will have their own QuickTopic chat to gather and plan strategy in. It is forbidden for team's player to share the QuickTopic with anybody else.
7. Players are encouraged to post in the game thread to gather more information about the opposing team and play mind games with the other team, planting false evidence.
8. We will modkill for unsportsmanlike conduct and inactivity.
TEAM WHITE
1. Sgt. Peppers
2. Zhwoobatte
3. Mijzelffan
4. Synthesis
5. Turtwig A
6. Feralize
TEAM BLACK
1. Yoshiwaker
2. Sourcandy
3. Rainbowkit
4. GengarEatBanana
5. Aestivate
6. Soul Melody
We need a minimum of 12 players, if there more, we'll accomodate by creating adding pieces.

The only exception is the Pawn; should he attack the opposing team's King or defend against an attack from the King, he would eliminate the King.
4. Each individual piece also has an action to help them garner information:
- Pawn: The Pawn has the ability to bypass numerical values when dealing with the King, making them the only piece capable of successfully conducting an attack against the King and the only piece with the King able to defend against an attack from the opposing team's King.
- Knight: The Knight can jump over some pieces and quickly make its way to the opposing team's side. As such, they make excellent scouts. Each night, a knight can scout an opposing team's player and find its numerical value. In Chess, when checking the King, you must say check out loud, and the principle applies here. When the Knight checks the King, the King will be made aware of it.
- Bishop: Bishops are men of faith who always have a few sermons ready, and therefore, do not mind holding audiences captive. During the opposing team's turn, a Bishop can select a player from the other team to converse religion with, effectively making them unable to attack for that phase.
- Rook: Rooks are protective fortresses, and as such can protect pieces whose numerical value is inferior to theirs from the attacks of opposing team's pieces whose numerical value is also inferior to theirs.
- Queen: Deadliest piece; upon the death of a Rook or a Bishop, she inherits their actions. If both die before her, she can collect both.
- King: The King has two abilities. The first is to have the final say in who will be the attacker and who will be his target. The second is Castling, meaning that the player who is King can become a Rook should he feel threatened, while the Rook player would become King.
5. Should both team's Kings be the only pieces remaining, the match will end in a draw.
6. Each team will have their own QuickTopic chat to gather and plan strategy in. It is forbidden for team's player to share the QuickTopic with anybody else.
