Both Fletchinder and Hawlucha were smashed by that Spritzee so that proves it is unclear who is starring. My hopes are on Fletchinder though!!!

Sylveon's known moves: Fairy Wind, Disarming Voice

Spritzee's known moves: Dazzling Gleam, Trick Room

My, I really getting wondered about the battle. Both Flying types from Ash gets whacked out by the Fairies and they still can't show the "wow" factor of this stage.

I think this is Hawlucha's gym because Fletchinder is getting screen time with Noibat. Plus, every gym leader should have a strategy to each type that the gym specialises in is weak against so maybe Spritzee has a move other than trick room to beat Fletchinder.

I don't think after seeing the new preview, the post right above yours, that Fletchinder will make it.

Hawlucha was just smashed away in previous preview, here Fletchinder is being smashed against trick room with Valerie's attacks and hard. I can't imagine Fletchinder surviving especially not with Ash yelling out Fletchinder's "Japanese" name in a very worried tone.

That's true. Plus, that battle with Sylveon would've worn Fletchinder out. Don't see Ash losing though

Ash losing here would be justifiable but i don't see him losing bcuz the summary of next episode states otherwise but still good to see fletchinder and hawlucha getting a gym to themselves.

I think that this is actually the first gym in history where Pikachu or the starter doesn't take part in. Maybe they made it a 2v2 so that Pikachu or Frogadier dosen't have to butt in to the battle and the birds get some battling time to themselves.

So true. About damn time that Pikachu gets rejected for a gym. Same deal with the starters but I want to see frogadier/greninja in the next gym.

I think it also knows Gyro Ball

I didn't count that move because I didn't know if it was Gyro Ball or Moonblast. In any case, Spritzee was shown to have Moonblast in the opening.

Ash VS Misty from the original series was the first, actually. He used Butterfree and Pidgeotto in that battle.

It just looks like the Moonblast and the other attack are formed differently though. Maybe Valerie was getting her Spritzee to use Moonblast while spinning to get extra power?

This is perhaps the most unpredictable gym since viola i can't actually tell who's going to win.

True, but episodes after make it seem like Ash is winning. They most likely stay in Laverre for Serena's showcase.

Yeah you're right but they are staying in laverre for more than ten episodes as it seems that serena's showcase is still nowhere to be seen, that's a lot of time in one city.

Wait. They will head to the Pokeball factory first according to upcoming episode XY078, and then they will return to laverre city for Serena's upcoming performing. Also, if I am wrong, Ash will probably have a rematch against Valerie to get his six badge. I don't know if he lose here, but it looks like it.

Wait, isn't the pokeball factory episodeis XY082 and XY077-081 are the pikachu specials.
