Isn’t that basically confirmed? The code name for Polteageist was literally Teacup2 if I’m not mistaken.

They released trevenant before phantump, corviknight before it's prevos, bewear before stufful. Although those weren't mid stage but just evolved forms so idk if the same might apply to mid stage forms

Grubbin was revealed first as it came with the E3 demo, the next month we got Charjabug and Vikavolt at the same time.

Tbh, I don't know where they'd go after a teapot ghost. I mean it could still be a three stage, but having Polteageist as a final stage sounds more plausable.

Like they can have a haunted tea tin/tea brick/tea bag, then a tea cup, then Polteageist.
