Non-Story Pokémon SwSh Datamine Thread (SPOILER WARNING, It's Finally Here!)

Any news on the major/minor league thing? Also, is Eviolite still in the game? Alsooooo, do we have any clearer pics of the in-game models (without the rigging)?

The minor league (I've heard) pretty much gets referenced once by an NPC, and goes into the depths of everything else once mentioned by an NPC that you assume would at least try and go somewhere...

It really is a pity, the minor/major league concept may as well not even exist at all.

Speaking of the version-exclusive Gyms, as a Sword buyer, I do slightly prefer Bea over Allister, but man I do not care for Gordie. Melony seems way cooler.

Something I've been wondering, do we know what the new Pokemon were that the reviewers would have encountered during that 90 minute demo? That is the Pokemon available in the early routes and the Slumbering Weald.

I assume Rookiedee was one of them and then probably Blipbug and Nickit but after that I'm not sure.

So theres one thing i wonder.

In the trainer list from the datamine there are quite a few gym trainers that Specialize in types from gyms not featured in either game.

I saw Gym trainers.

For Bug, Flying, Poison, Steel, Normal, Ground, and Electric.

They weren't in the Battle tower Trainer list either
Meaning they are main game and no ones battled them yet or were and aren't in the game any longer.

Maybe they were planning to include the Minor league but it got cut?

Route 1:
- Skwovet, Rookidee, Nickit, Blipbug

Route 2:
- Chewtle, Arrokuda (assuming that they could fish this early in the game)

There's also one of the wolves at the beginning, I believe

The Toxel line is probably the line that has the biggest 180 for me so far in 8 generations. It goes from "what the hell am i looking at" for the first stage and then "that looks awesome" for the final stage.

I know this is probably for playtesting, but I'm very curious as to why they needed so many Opals lol.

Wait, aren’t they the gym challengers? I thought they’ll be something you fight postgame after being Champion.

I honestly dont know

All the main game gym leaders are listed before them and are lv 60 + which to me seems like rematches but.

These gym trainers dont fit with the others being unused types but are almost as strong as gym leader's.

Perhaps these are minor league gym leaders retitled gym trainer rather than gym leader

That’s possible. I did read they were someone you fight postgame, but it was a few days ago, and so I don’t know if there were new updates.

I just looked at the trainer list again, I think the gym challengers are purely coincidence. Because Vega (water), Cher (Rock), Deneb (fighting), Wei (ghost), Izar (ice), Pia (grass), Terry (dragon), and Phoebus (fire), all use types that have gym leaders already. They're probably just type specialists. Also the fact there's no dark and fairy specialists is interesting.
