Create a New Ability

How about...

"Desperation" - "The Pokemon can still attack when out of PP."

If a Pokemon attempts to use a physical or special attack when it's out of PP, the move will execute but it will cost the user 25% of their maximum HP (like Struggle does). Status moves cannot be used when out of PP.

I like the idea so much, but I'm not too sure of the name because desperation usually holds a more negative connotation, more so than words with a similar meaning such as 'determined', "tenacious", "resolute", or "insistent", and other words. Just my opinion but great creative idea. ^^

A few random ideas that I thought of. :p

Indignant: Raises attack when hit with a move of 100 or higher base power.
Clamorous: Causes sound type moves to hit through protect.
Astute: Increases accuracy when inflicted with a status condition.

A ability for a ground/fighting frog.

Mud frog- creates a mud substitute when hit by a move, comes from its mouth, the substitute protexts the user and explodes. Damages targets only that make physical contact. Sound moves, multistrike moves, all targeting moves hit like through normal substitutes. If it faints its substitute protects the next pokemon in battle.

For a fighting/rock bear
made out of red gem stone with
85 hp 110 attack 85 defense
150 sp defense 55 sp. Attack
and 30 speed

Hardeness: causes the target to get 25% extra recoil damage from all physical contact moves used against the user, if the attack is a priority move the recoil damage is 33%... if the move already has recoil damage the extra recoil damage will be addet to it.
_________________________
Druid: every turn casts a status move from its allies before moves begin.
for a grass/fairy starter.

Triumphant
Raises Sp Atk by one stage if it’s attack knocks out a foe. (Special version of moxie).

Poignant Stare
Decreases Sp Atk by one stage of the opponent on switch in. (Special version of Intimidate).

Flaming Spirit
The user's special attack increases by one stage if it uses fire moves two times in a row.

Cleaner
Removes all Hazards whenever brought to the field (remains undamaged by them).

Nasty Shuffle
Swaps Hazards/Screens for both sides of the field on switch in. (Basically a free court change on switch in).

Gravitational Pull
Sets up gravity on switch in. (For 5 turns).

Counter Shield
All "Super-effective" moves become "Not very effective" and all "Not very effective" moves become "Super-effective" when used against this Pokémon .

Basically Inverse Battles but as an ability, also a polar opposite regarding Wonder Guard that would throw players off their game thinking they have a type advantage they can use right off the bat.

Poltergeist
Allows ghost types to hit normal type Pokemon. Essentially a backwards Scrappy.

Vengeance
If the Pokemon with this ability is OHKO'd, it causes its foe to be taken down with it. Like destiny bond, except it triggers upon fainting.

Kaleidoscopic / Ability
Description: Attacks from foes with 2 or more types have less accuracy against the user, and deal less damage.
All damaging attacks have 20% less accuracy when attacking the user, including moves that hit multiple foes, and deal 20% less damage to the user.

Finally, a good time to use Trick or Treat :lapras:

Crush Guard
An attack that normally would not affect an opposing Pokémon due to type and some abilities will inflict normal damage to said Pokémon. Will penetrate Wonder Guard and Bulletproof, if applicable, but will not affect Levitate and certain Ground-type attacks like Earthquake and Magnitude will not affect Flying-type or Levitating Pokémon.

Only certain very powerful Pokémon, such as some Legendaries like Mewtwo, Mew, Arceus, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Zekrom, and others on that level. will have this ability to keep it from being too broken.

Plasma Boost
Fire and Electric-type moves are boosted by 50%, but this only works on Pokemon that doesn't have the typing in the typing at all.

This would be the signature ability for the Perfect/Complete/Final form of Kyurem to accommodate the vastly different movepool that the form brings.

Some of the legendary abilities from my predicted yugo region:

  • Trinity judge: The pokemon in question gains the resistances of a dark type (but not STAB or weaknesses). All attacks gain a 10% chance of inflicting flinch. Applies aftermath
  • Unending winter: All pokemon reduced to 15% of their max HP faint. Applies permanent blizzard. Applies pressure
  • Sacral vow: Applies permanent psychic terrain. Supereffective moves cannot critical and have halved accuracy. Healing moves are twice as effective
  • Liminal Bridge: Alternates between psychic and haunted terrain every turn. Both pokemon get sturdy. Applies Area trap/shadow tag.
  • Chaos Trick: all user's attacks gain a 20% chance of inflicting confusion. Applies Sniper. Critical hits instantly cause confusion.
  • Rise again: Upon fainting, user cannot be revived manually but auto-revives after 5 turns. Activates only once per battle.
  • Obtenebration: Applies permanent haunted terrain. Opponent's accuracy is halved and critical hits are disabled. User's evasion is doubled if they do not attack.
  • Damonion: all forms of poison permanently transform into bad poison. Poisoned pokemon cannot be cured of their condition. applies permanent haunted terrain
  • Malefica: applies permanent haunted terrain. Opposing pokemon under 50%HP have all their stats permanently sharply reduced. applies curse (without damaging the user) on opponents who reduce user to 50% HP
  • Prescence: applies permanent misty terrain. Applies mold breaker. Applies shadow tag/area trap
  • Temporis: Doubles priority of user's moves. Applies permanent misty terrain. Increases critical hit rate
  • Mytherceria: Applies permanent misty terrain. When struck with a supereffective move, the opposing pokemon has it's highest stat reduced sharply if not HP. If HP, heal block is applied. Supereffective moves have increased accuracy.

* haunted terrain increases the power of ghost, dark, and poison moves and causes those moves a 10% chance of inflicting their status effect (fear for ghost and dark, poison for poison).
*fear is a new status effect that causes the pokemon in question to take additional damage from attacks and randomly flinch or get charmed/confused (flinching at a 50 percent chance, swoon and confusion at 10 percent)

- a ability that by contact confuses the target if the target hist the user (psychic/poison, psychic/dragon or psychic/dark)

- Siphoner: the user steals 1/10 hp every turn from target and any hp the target would gain via a draning move, hp healing move, items, potions or bearries (dark/fairy or ghost/fairy vampire bat with great speed and hp status)

- Magnet Engine, the user is immune to steel moves and gains one stage speed when hit by one

- bloob- the user takes 50% of speciall attacks but becomes weak to electric moves (for a poison/psychic type, dual wall will large hp)

- phantom- the user when faints creates a substitue that will protect the next pokemon and hurt the target if attacked physically only for one turn the one when a physical move is used

Mudslinger- Mud moves can hit Flying types (affects Mud Slap, Mud Shot, and Mud Bomb)
Pokemon that would know this ability: Wooper/Quagsire (replaces Unaware), Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert (replaces Damp), Barboach/Whiscash (replaces Oblivious), Unovan Stunfisk (replaces Limber)

Mudslinger- Mud moves can hit Flying types (affects Mud Slap, Mud Shot, and Mud Bomb)

Ooh yes. This will allow for some good toss-up on their parts and threaten flying types too (although I would prefer to keep Unaware on the Wooper line)

phantom- the user when faints creates a substitue that will protect the next pokemon and hurt the target if attacked physically only for one turn the one when a physical move is used

Mimikyu Post-Fainting

Mimikyu Post-Fainting

naturaly also would be to create a pokemon that creates via its ability a Substitute after loosing 50% of its hp... like a water type that creates a water shield... a electric or psyhcic type that creates a barrier or activates hidden protection in the middle of the battle...

Still would be cool if they would create a rock or ground version of Ice face in sandstorm...
a grass version for grassy terrain... substitutes what regenarate but would make sand and grass block special attacks.

hmmm maybe activating Curse by faiting?
like move curse for a ghost type but activates when it faints without loosing hp.

Or a ghost type with ability that gains hp when oponent looses his via indirect damage like curse, poison or burn status? the exact amount of hp gains the user that the target loses via indirect damage.

a ability for a water/gighting jaguar starter taking many weaknesses would be Instinct:
its a Detect that activates once when on the field and target uses a SE move against the user the user will avoid it.

Not first turn like Mimikyu but at any moment the opent would use the SE move... and when switching back the ability resets and can be used again

a fire/ghost starter horse, centaur, samurai, with lance and shield, that can be also sword and crossbow , slow but with ability: Hellrider, its fire type moves become increased priority moves when hp is below 50%
, high special defense, good defense and hp, offensive stats equal

If they create a new slaking, wishiwasshi with either ice, flying, fighting, fairy, poison typing then maybe a pokemon that has in beggining very strong stats and all its stats get reduced every turn and it becomes smaller? imagine a 125 each stats, that every turn lowers all stats with exception of its hp...
________________

a form change ability that could make a pokemon very strong for the turns when its sleeping and then change back... form change that would involve change of stats but maybe also it's typing?
with Rest and maybe a damage dealing move that puts the user to sleep... this kind of pokemon could move while sleeping like the user of comatose does but would gain wishiwashi like stats... moves that wake up targets against it would be cool to use against it.

wake up slap, uproar and worry seed would gain a new meaning in the game...
___________

Dream catcher: the users heals 1/8 hp every turn when the target is sleeping, this ability steals the hp that the target would gain while using rest. If the target has insomania this pokemon gets damaged 1/8 every turn.

EnthrallingThe best name I could come up with on the fly. - A counterpart to Intimidate that lowers the opponent's Special Attack upon being sent out.

Something I never thought we needed but we needed all along
________________

Eerie Soul: Upon being hit by an attack, X% chance for the attacker to be terrorized that they will forcibly switch out.

X depends on the move's effectiveness against the user. The more effective it is, the more enraged the user will be and the higher the chance to forcibly switch the attacker out. Perhaps something like:

Immune = 0
NVE = 10
E = 20
SE = 30
