I think that if Gou gets Sobble he's probably getting Grookey too.I think it's going to be just that Goh will get Sobble and Ash will get Grookey.

Why?I think that if Gou gets Sobble he's probably getting Grookey too.
Grookey is the least popular starter. It doesn't make sense to only give Ash the least popular starter. Why?
Good point. But Cinderace might be too big to stay outside it's Pokeball every single episode.I don't think that Gou would do that. It would be like Ash replacing Pikachu.
Turtonator was an out of ball mon.Good point. But Cinderace might be too big to stay outside it's Pokeball every single episode.
Idk tho.
Turtonator was an out of ball mon.
To be fair the writers had no way of knowing who'd be popular when writing these episodesGrookey is the least popular starter. It doesn't make sense to only give Ash the least popular starter.
It's clear that they intended Scorbunny to be the most popular starter as it was the most prominent. To be fair the writers had no way of knowing who'd be popular when writing these episodes
Who had significantly less screentime than Gou's Raboot.Turtonator was an out of ball mon.
Cinderace is still easier to draw so Gou would probably still keep it outside of its Poke Ball. (Although, it might look creepy, as Cinderace looks like someone wearing a fursuit.)Who had significantly less screentime than Gou's Raboot
I doubt they deliberately intended on Grookey to be the least liked StarterIt's clear that they intended Scorbunny to be the most popular starter as it was the most prominent.
It ended up being anyways, as Scorbunny and Sobble are way more appealing, but that's just personal opinion. I think that Gou will catch Grookey too, meaning that Ash will go starterless for the first time.I doubt they deliberately intended on Grookey to be the least liked Starter
Grookey's left though, and we still don’t have full confirmation of who ends up with Sobble. Wait till the episode airs before passing facts,This might end up being the very first time that Ash doesn't get any of the current region starters.
Ash is not getting it, because they wouldn't have Ash catch two Pokemon in back to back episodes. Sobble is confirmed to be Gou's.
Kalos, Kanto and Unova say hi.I don't know if Ash would catch a Pokemon in back to back episodes. Ash already had his capture for this Galar arc. It's Gou's turn.
What? His Pokémon have known dark moves before, Lycanroc knew Bite.G-Farfetch'd also knows Night Slash and Brutal Swing. Looks like Ash catching a pure Dark-type is no longer a farfetched idea.
Unless Go is going to keep half his party outside his Pokeball I somehow doubt that.It ended up being anyways, as Scorbunny and Sobble are way more appealing, but that's just personal opinion. I think that Gou will catch Grookey too, meaning that Ash will go starterless for the first time.
Bite and Crunch were considered exceptions.Grookey's left though, and we still don’t have full confirmation of who ends up with Sobble. Wait till the episode airs before passing facts,

Who made them exceptions? Is there some authority on why some dark moves don’t count as dark moves? And how does Ash's Pokemon learning a dark move imply he’s "unlocked" the ability to get a pure dark type?Bite and Crunch were considered exceptions.
Bite and Crunch were considered exceptions because they weren't considered "evil" like the other Dark-type moves and were just considered extensions of the Pokemon's biology. The fact that Bite was once a Normal-type move also helps.Who made them exceptions? Is there some authority on why some dark moves don’t count as dark moves? Exceptions to what exactly? There isn’t a rule regarding dark types. And Ash could just get a dark type without a dark move. This is the first time I’m hearing of Ash banned from dark moves, and the Dark moves his Pokemon know are magically exceptions? That’s a highly reaching trend. In fact, the only time Ash uses those moves are when they’re dark type and not normal.Bite and Crunch were considered exceptions because they weren't considered "evil" like the other Dark-type moves and were just considered extensions of the Pokemon's biology. Many people considered pure Dark-types off limits because Ash's Pokemon hadn't gotten any Dark-type moves aside from Bite and Crunch, and most of his Dark-types had their Dark-type completely ignored. G-Farfetch'd getting Night Slash and Brutal Swing killed this argument though, so we shouldn't be arguing about this any more.Exceptions to what exactly? There isn’t a rule regarding dark types.
