Ash and Goh travel to the Alola region after Ash got word from Mallow that there is something wrong on Treasure Island. Ash is excited to see his Pokemon friends on Treasure Island again. Mallow meets Ash and Goh on the Melemele Island airport. They take Professor Kukui's boat to Treasure Island. While being there, Ash, Goh and Mallow notice that all the Pokemon are gone. After more investigation, they discover that the Ultra Beast Guzzlord has returned to the Alola region and has taken residence on Treasure Island. Ash and Pikachu try to fight it, but Pikachu gets defeated. Goh and Mallow send out Raboot and Tsareena, but they also get defeated. Then, from the woods, a number of tall Pokemon, come to the trio. They were unable to fight Guzzlord on their own. Goh is amazed to see that the Exeggutor are so big. The Exeggutor team up with Ash and Dragonite and defeat the Guzzlord in unison. The Exeggutor thank the Trio. One of them steps to Ash and points to Dragonite and Pikachu with its tail. Ash asks if he wants to join the team. The Exeggutor nods. Ash catches the Exeggutor. Goh is jealous that he has the big one. However, little does he know that his Exeggutor has found a Leaf Stone in Sakuragi Labs and is in the process of evolving himself.

Having 10 year olds drinking sake must be one of the stupidest things I ever saw someone writing.

Journeys finale arc

Part 2 - Kidnapped Partners! The Floating Fortress!

Continuing from the first cliffhanger where Ash and Pikachu find themselves cornered by Matori and the Team Rocket grunts the duo prepare to fight them off but Ash gets knocked out by one of the grunts and falls unconscious. Pikachu in great despair becomes incredibly furious and filled with rage but with another grunt using sleeping gas, he ends up falling asleep and the two of them are taken away by Matori, with another grunt taking Ash's Pokeballs off of him.

Meanwhile in different regions, other grunts are holding many of the regions under siege but the many different friends Ash has made (both old characters and newer ones including COTD's) won't stand for it and begin to launch a counterattack against TR. Some of them are succeeding and others aren't. Back in Galar, as Gou, Leon and the others race outside, they soon come across an all too familiar adversary: Gozu (from the Sun & Moon series) who Kukui instantly recognizes. He has come to stop the others dead in their tracks by bringing out his Aggron this time more powerful than before but just before they can battle, they soon notice a massive fortress rising from the ground and everyone suddenly much to their horror recognizes Ash and Pikachu being taken inside.

Jessie, James and Meowth also head outside to search for the other members. Once they see Pikachu, Jessie goes especially irritated (even more than last time) over the fact the other grunts once again have them so without wasting any time, they quickly sneak into the fortress when no one else is looking.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger with Gozu about to attack everyone before they can have a chance of even getting their Pokemon ready.

PM0?? - Mysterious Forest. Sonia's Research: Ash and Gou set off for Ballonlea in the Galar region for Ash's next PWC match. It turns out that the village lies at the heart of the mysterious Glimwood Tangle, a strange and ominous place said to be home to Fairy Pokemon. The duo quickly get lost, but run into Sonia who appears to be placing video cameras throughout the forest. She explains that there have been sightings of a beautiful Pokemon that has yet to be officially documented, presumably due to its fear of humans. Ash and Gou agree to help her keep watch during her 24-hour observation, but are struggling to stay awake when...

I have a lot more ideas and was gonna write a lot more but realized that I just wrote a lot for one potential episode so I’ll probably just either update or reply with more ideas eventually, but here’s one about Darkrai and Cresselia:
  • Mᴀᴛᴏʀɪ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ Nɪɢʜᴛᴍᴀʀᴇs ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ Nᴇᴡ Mᴏᴏɴ: When Ash and Go hear about suspicious activity around Newmoon Island in the Sinnoh Region, the duo head out to investigate what might be going wrong. Upon arriving, the two boys find out that the Matori Matrix, the elite Team Rocket team, were there, and that they had captured Darkrai and had connected him to some type of machine! While listening in, they discover that they intend to put whole regions to sleep in order to kidnap Pokémon! Even though Darkrai was resisting, it seemed like he couldn’t hold out for much longer! Go tries to keep Ash from blowing their cover, Ash can’t keep himself from trying to help Darkrai. Ash attempts to confront Matori, but Ash and Go are hit with a direct attack from Darkrai caused by the machine! The attack is so powerful that it knocks the two boys out. Team Rocket grunts throw them into the sea. Ash and Go later wake up on another island, and Go checks his Rotom Phone and it turns out that they had been asleep for 2 whole days due to Darkrai’s powers. They can see Newmoon Island in the distance, but don’t know where they are. Upon using the GPS to locate themselves, they find out that they’re on Fullmoon Island, where Cresselia is said to live! Knowing that Cresselia has the powers to reverse the effects of Darkrai’s attack, Ash and Go begin their search! Eventually, they meet Cresselia, but it doesn’t want to help Darkrai, it’s enemy. But after Ash and Go tell them of the damage that Team Rocket could cause, Cresselia reluctantly agrees to help Darkrai. Ash and Go hop onto Cresselia, and fly over to Newmoon Island to destroy Matori’s plans! The grunts are easily defeated by the legendary, but when Matori uses the machine to fight back with Darkrai, things get dangerous. However, Darkrai manages all of his strength to miss one of his attacks, and Cresselia manages to destroy the machine. Matori swears that she’ll destroy Ash and Go one day, and escapes on a big Team Rocket boat. Darkrai and Cresselia come to a truce and Ash and Go return home to their worried friends and Pokémon.

Journeys finale arc

Part 3 - Secret Plans! Team Rocket's True Agenda!

Continuing from part two's cliffhanger with Gozu preparing to attack everyone with his Aggron, a familiar face with a red Gyarados arrives just in time blocking Aggron's attack. Gou, Leon and Brock soon recognize that it's Lance of the Elite Four (who was also watching Ash's battle), Bonnie geeks out over the fact that she's literally meeting an Elite Four member in person but Lance says she might want to save that for later and tells Gozu to leave them alone. Gozu refuses to listen telling Lance that he should be the one to back off before calling Matori saying he needs assistance as she sends various TR grunts to help out. With everyone cornered they soon realize they have no choice but to fight so everyone sends out their Pokemon to battle. Leon tells Gou that he, Sakuragi and the rest including Ash's other companions should take care of the grunts leaving him and Lance to deal with Gozu who takes no hesitation in mega evolving his Aggron.

In the fortress as Ash soon wakes up, he sees that he and Pikachu are in an incredibly dark, gloomy room with Pikachu close behind him but with their arms and legs wrapped in chains. As Ash sees that Pikachu is okay, they soon struggle to get themselves out finding that they've been locked up by Matori leaving them furious. As she walks up the two angrily glare at her to which she just states that "Now that both of you are trapped here, you won't be disturbing us in the slightest." Ash tells her why the whole of Team Rocket is treating him like this to which Matori replies that now that he has won the championship, he and not just Pikachu but his entire team will now help them aspire and get one step closer to achieving their goal: to assert their dominance in every region, basically ruling and controlling everyone with an iron fist. Knowing that he would only interfere with their plans much like how he and Gou did multiple amounts of times doing the series, she took no hesitation in kidnapping him and Pikachu and keeping him hostage for Giovanni making sure that they are one step ahead compared to everyone else. Ash suddenly notices that one of the grunts walking by has his Pokeballs (which were stolen from him) and more furious he asks what they're doing to his Pokemon and to keep his hands off of them. Matori again states it's that so Ash won't disturb them. She walks off and another grunt soon walks in ready to separate Pikachu from Ash, Pikachu gets incredibly scared and angered by this and as soon as the grunt starts holding him, he bites his hand (with no blood since this is Pokemon of course) and Thunderbolts him soon rendering him unconscious (not dead, just unconscious), before breaking the chains freeing him. Matori hearing the sound runs back to find Pikachu has broken out and orders the others to deal with him to which Ash tells Pikachu to run and that he'll come back for him once he too gets out.

While this is going on Jessie, James and Meowth have snuck into the fortress and while running into a couple of antics whilst trying to get in, they eventually find themselves stumbling into another room with Jessie still rambling about how Matori is wrecking their plans on catching Pikachu and how she's the exact opposite of them. They suddenly come to a stop when Wobbuffet accidentally trips over a folder full of documents and start glancing over the various pieces of paper. James notices that a lot of the documents have something to do with Eternatus considering that the name is mentioned a few times leaving Jessie to ponder and wonder if they're planning on using Eternatus. Meowth scoffs it off knowing that Matori would never be able to handle a Pokemon as powerful as that but then comes to an abrupt stop as they soon realize that this could be for the boss rather than her. Just as they're about to put the documents back, another grunt walks in and spots the trio in the room. And as they get cornered by more grunts, they soon find out that with them being forced to use the Gacha machine other than Meowth and Wobbufett they have no other Pokemon to fight them off leaving them in a spot of bother indeed.

The episode would cut back and fourth between the Gozu battle and the events in the fortress with Ash's companions and the others doing what they can to stop Gozu and the others. It ends on a cliffhanger with shots of the others battling, Pikachu running away from the grunts who are in hot pursuit, Team Rocket stressing out in a comedic fashion wondering what to do and Ash still struggling to break out while he think to himself saying that he'll make sure that Pikachu and the others are okay and that he'll stop Matori and Giovanni ending with a shot of Giovanni looking outside stating that it is time for his major plan to commence as he laughs to himself.

Yeah, I'm trying my hardest to make sure this doesn't sound too similar to how @
Eclipsical's idea would play out.

Here’s a Galar 2-parter involving Koharu, Grookey, and an Ash vs. Milo battle.
  • Tʜᴇ Pʟᴀʏғᴜʟ Gʀᴏᴏᴋᴇʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ Pᴏᴋᴇ́ᴍᴏɴ Nᴜʀsᴇʀʏ! - Ash, Goh, and Koharu (having recently joined the team) head to the Galar Region, as Ash wishes to challenge Milo after hearing about how strong the Galar Gym Leaders were from Bea. Along with that, Gym Battles also count as official PWC battles, so he can raise his rank! However, things take a wacky turn as they approach Turffield when a Pokémon they have never seen before approaches Koharu! The Pokémon jumps about, dancing and playing with it’s stick, beating it on the ground. Goh takes out his Rotom Phone and learns that it’s a Grookey! Goh becomes excited, as usual, and throws a Poké Ball in an attempt to capture it, but Grookey quickly dodges it, and continues with his dancing. Goh tries two more times, but Grookey’s speed and rhythm are too strong, and Goh gives up, deciding that Grookey just doesn’t want to be captured. Even throughout this, Grookey continues to play, and surprisingly, this causes Koharu to laugh. Ash and Goh are shocked but pleased that Koharu is enjoying herself. However, Grookey finally begins to run away, but Koharu decides to chase after it in an unexpected burst of energy. Again, Ash and Goh are confused that Koharu has such an interest in this Pokémon, but follow after it as well. The two boys question Koharu as they chase after it, wondering what’s so special about Grookey, but she can’t place her finger on it. Eventually, they lose sight of Grookey, but find themselves in front of a Pokémon Nursery, which they enter. Koharu asks the lady at the desk whether she had seen a Grookey before, and confirms she has! She tells the group that a while ago, a trainer abandoned an egg at the doorstep of the Pokémon Nursery. She took the egg in and kept it safe and warm. When it eventually hatched, it hatched into a Grookey! However, no trainers that came to the nursery ever adopted Grookey, with most trainers being unable to deal with Grookey’s strong personality. Since then, Grookey runs around outside and approaches people that it likes to try and impress them into being it’s trainer. Learning about Grookey’s backstory causes Koharu to become upset, and she decides that she’s going to keep looking for it. Ash and Goh agree to help her, and delve into the forest to looking for Grookey deeper. During their forest search, Goh manages to catch a Blipbug and Gossifleur, before they hear Grookey’s cry. They follow it and see that Grookey was being attacked by a flock of birds and their leader! Goh’s Rotom Phone identifies them as Rookidee and Corvisquire. Koharu and Yamper run to Grookey’s aid, and Grookey’s eyes light up upon seeing Koharu. Koharu manages to scare off the Rookidee with Yamper’s Thunderbolt, but the Corvisquire won’t give up. Koharu takes control of Grookey and the two team up and defeat the Corvisquire, who flies off. Koharu brings Grookey back to the nursery, and turns to say goodbye, but Grookey holds onto Koharu’s leg. Ash laughs, and says that Grookey wants to stay with Koharu! Koharu is confused, but she agrees to let Grookey join her. Goh hands her a Poké Ball, and she tosses it up, and Grookey touches it with his stick, and he is successfully captured! Koharu smiles, and says, “So this is what catching a Pokémon is like?”
  • Tʜᴇ Tᴜʀғғɪᴇʟᴅ Tᴜᴍʙʟᴇ! Asʜ ᴠs. Mɪʟᴏ! - The next day, after Koharu has captured Grookey, Ash schedules a PWC battle with Milo. The group approaches the gym, and when they enter, Ash is met with a receptionist, who separates Ash and the other two. Goh and Koharu wish Ash luck, and they go to sit in the stands. Ash is brought into a waiting room for challengers, and he is approached by Milo. They introduce each other and have a quick conversation, and Milo tells Ash that he expects a great battle after hearing that he had previously fought Bea. Ash is confused, considering he lost, but Milo says that it doesn’t matter whether he won or lost, the fact that he tried to battle Bea is a testament to his will. He also tells Ash that Dynamaxing is allowed. Ash and Milo enter the main stadium and take opposing sides. The Rotom Drone floats down and announces the rules of the battle, a 2v2 match, with the challenger allowed to switch Pokémon, with Dynamax allowed. With a 3-2-1 countdown, Ash chooses Riolu and Milo chooses Appletun. Ash immediately has Riolu use Force Palm, and Appletun counters with Iron Defense, which allows him to take the hit and retaliate with Dragon Pulse. Riolu is knocked back, but takes it. Riolu then uses Double Team and launches a flurry of Vacuum Waves. Many of them hit Appletun, but Appletun manages to use Round, which hits all of the clones at once, along with the real Riolu. With Riolu not doing so hot, Ash switches him out for Pikachu. Appletun then uses Apple Acid in several areas, with Pikachu dodging with Qucik Attack and hitting Appletun each time. Appletun then uses Round again, knocking Pikachu back. Ash needs a way to stop Appletun from using Round, and ends up having Pikachu use Iron Tail on Appletun’s neck, knocking him into the air. Pikachu then jumps up and uses Iron Tail again, smashing Appletun into the ground and defeating him. Milo sends out Eldegoss and Ash keeps in Pikachu. Pikachu and Eldegoss clash several times before Milo decides to use Dynamax. In response, Ash decides to have Pikachu Gigantamax to counter it, despite not having much experience. Eldegoss uses Max Overgrowth and Grassy Terrain is activated. Pikachu uses Max Steelspike and lowers Eldegoss’s defense. To combat it’s lowered defense, it uses Max Gaurd while Pikachu approaches him and uses Max Strike. Ash decides to try and finish Eldegoss off and tries to use G-Max Volt Crash, but Eldegoss uses Max Overgrowth and KOs Pikachu. Eldegoss reverts back to normal and Ash brings Riolu back out. Eldegoss attempts to regain it’s strength with Giga Drain, but Riolu dodges and lands two Force Palms, knocking Eldegoss back. The two continue to fight until Riolu is almost knocked out. Surprisingly, Ash has Riolu run in a direct line towards Eldegoss, but right before Eldegoss attacks, Riolu launches himself off the ground with a Vacuum Wave before using gravity to accelerate himself into a Reversal which defeats Eldegoss. Milo congratulates Ash on his victory and gives him the Grass Badge, along with the circle-thing to house the badges with it. Ash takes the badge and decides that he will have to train more with Pikachu to master it’s Gigantamax.

After seeing the new opening, I wrote this prediction.

The Black Night! Rage of Eternatus!

Ash and Goh make it to the top of Hammerlocke Stadium. There they see Leon and Charizard battling Eternatus. The pair join Leon in the battle. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt and angers Eternatus.

Eternatus goes for Ash and Goh, but Leon pushes them out of the way of its Eternabeam. He takes the hit of the powerful attack. Eternatus blasts a hole in the floor so the viewer cannot tell if Leon is dead or not.

Ash and Go call out for Leon. Ash attempts to go down to find him. But Goh tells him they have to fight Eternatus. Ash takes a moment to calm down and agrees with Goh. Ash commands Leon's Charizard during the fight. He briefly recalls the time with his own Charizard. Eternatus changes into its Eternamax Form to overwhelm the team. They call for help of the two wolves, Zacian and Zamazenta. With them, Eternatus is beaten.

Ash and Goh find the injured Leon in some rubble below. He is alive but close to death. Ash tells Dragonite to fly him to safety. Charizard is too exhausted to carry is trainer but thanks Dragonite for his help. Ash and Goh are still concerned about the Champion.
