Knowing JN, the first thing is far more likely. It would be a massive shame if Gary is only back for 1 episode, being a researcher, he could play a big role in the Project Mew arc

Proffesor Oak:
Am I a joke to you?
Oh yes did you expect otherwise from JN?Are they seriously stuffing the Moltres subplot in a Go focus episode?
I think it will be multiple episodes, however I don't think it will cover both of the DLC's. I think. we will cover the Hoenn Regi's and K-Articuno -> Goh is rejected from the project -> Ash and Goh go to train for the HC and legendaries (maybe on the IOA), then we get another arc/ broken group of episodes exploring the CT.The real question is if it's several episodes in a row or spread out through a bunch of 'em...
They likely wanted to first develop him as a competent trainer. If Tsurugi and Asahi/ whoever his rivals are aren't catching all Pokémon but instead focusing on legendaries, then there would be nothing for Goh to contest against then in before he reached the point he could challenge more powerful pokemon.Giving Goh a rival feels like something they should have done a long time ago.
Oak tells Ash and Goh about project Mew, Ash reunites with his Pokémon, they are told about and go looking for Infernape, Gary and Moltres plot happens. The focus seems more on Ash/ Gary than on Goh.Are they seriously stuffing the Moltres subplot in a Go focus episode?
I mean, then it’s weird that they've titled the episode after Go.Oak tells Ash and Goh about project Mew, Ash reunites with his Pokémon, they are told about and go looking for Infernape, Gary and Moltres plot happens. The focus seems more on Ash/ Gary than on Goh.
An episode can focus on other stuff besides what the title describes, too.I mean, then it’s weird that they've titled the episode after Go.
Every other raid battle episode was Go-centric, so why should it be any different now?Are they seriously stuffing the Moltres subplot in a Go focus episode?
But then, JN can clearly take up multiple episodes to cover vastly different plot lines. Just remove filler and put in another episode. One can be devoted entirely to Go, and one to Ash, without risking a lopsided focus. An episode can focus on other stuff besides what the title describes, too.
Because it’s being coupled with Ash reserves this time. Infernape should be front and center.Every other raid battle episode was Go-centric, so why should it be any different now?
I totally agree.Because it’s being coupled with Ash reserves this time. Infernape should be front and center.
Does this mean Articuno will sound like the G-Man himself? (Godzilla)Zapdos had Mothra's cry
I wonder if Moltres will have Rodan's, given they're both fire-based creatures
Godzilla isn't really ice-based though (and it's one of his weaknesses given he's been frozen at least twice throughout the years)Does this mean Articuno will sound like the G-Man himself? (Godzilla)
I’d pay real money to see thatDoes this mean Articuno will sound like the G-Man himself? (Godzilla)
Maybe those clickbait titles mimic the style of Japanese anime episode titles? Why do Japanese episode titles always sound like clickbait YouTube titles?
