So I guess it's impossible for the anime to cover Legends Arceus, Hisui and it's characters, right?

Just like how Ash went to the past in SM100 (and on many other occasions), there could have been a two-parter where Ash goes to the past to resolve a disrupt and comes back in time. It is not difficult for the writers to come up with a plot to cover the Legends:Arceus characters or exclusive Pokémon. They just choose not to do that for some reason. Knowing that even Sword&Shield games got a coverage for 4 parter (whether the execution is good or bad is irrelevant), that is sad.

Hisui snow doesn't feature any of the game characters either, which surprised me. I thought it would be similar to Twilight Wings and give some of the key characters some spotlight like Adaman, Iridia, etc. But it just featured an OC and random story.

Seems weird, I guess neither the main anime or a spinoff wanted to cover the game at all.
