Summary courtesy of Dephender at Serebii

The third match of the first round is between the Sinnoh region's Champion Shirona and the Isshu region's Champion Iris. Iris launches a flurry of attacks at the senior she holds in such high respect and who once taught her, one of her goals being to defeat Shirona in battle. However, despite seemingly being attacked incessantly, Shirona remains calm and collected.
As general as any fan could guess, not knowing at all what will realy happen, but still got it 100% true.

That summary basically confirms who is going to win and who is going to lose.

The third match of the first round is Sinnoh Champion Shirona VS Isshu Champion Iris. To Iris, Shirona is both a senior she holds in great respect and who once taught her, as well as someone she has set as a goal to overcome. Iris attack her incessantly, but Shirona remains calm and collected... It's spirit VS experience! Only one of them can win and continue on to the semifinals!!

Voice Cast:
Rica Matsumoto: Satoshi
Daiki Yamashita: Go
Ikue Ohtani: Pikachu

Pretty much, but let's be honest. We all knew from the start who was winning this one.
This is the #2 ranked trainer and she has consistently shown us that she is a real threat. Plus, Journeys has definitely been teasing her as a future opponent for Ash.

I'm not sure if this episode is going ahead tonight or set to be postponed at the last minute, given the expected media coverage for Abe Shinzo's assassination. Even here in Australia, it's the top story and swiftly overshadowed Boris Johnson's "resignation".

Assassinated after being shot during a speech… Rest In Peace and prayers to his family. Heartbreaking.

Will we get a Tobias cameo and it'd be nice to see Langley and Dawn again.

I know Iris is probably gonna lose, but from the previews I've seen so far, it seems like Iris is holding her own quite well.
