If you are finding yourself unable to log in, you should be able to fix the issue by following the following process.
1. Close all browser tabs with any part of Bulbagarden open.
2. Delete all Bulbagarden.net cookies (and if possible, any cached site data for Bulbagarden) from your browser.
3. Close and reopen your browser, open a new tab, and log into the forums on the new tab.
If you've followed this process and are still having issues, please contact us via the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the forum.
You know, I never actually knew until recently that ORAS also references Brandon and Tucker from the Battle Frontier. Brandon is the explorer in the old Volcanion video reels, and Lisia mentions that Wallace is friends with a guy who likes stones (Steven) and a Trainer who looks like a star... well, I can only think of one "star-shaped" Trainer, who just happens to be as flamboyant as Wallace.
Moving this here; I wouldn't think the BF was abandoned midway. An NPC says that they are in the process of scouting Trainers, and have already found a suitable Pike Queen.

The Sevii Islands (based on the Izu Islands) are closer to Kanto than the Orange Islands (Bonin Islands). I believe there was an anime-related map that showed this.

Obviously, none of them are that close to Kanto. They should be further to the south.
