But I'm curious as to what the situation with Tabitha is. Did the designers not know that Tabitha is a girl's name? Or is he transgender? Or is it just a case of having an appearance that could be perceived as male or female, and is only ever referred to in ambiguous terms (much like Jo in IL)?
I'll admit, the whole thing with Latios surprised me. I knew they had to fit the whole Mega Evolution thing in there somehow, but there and then kind of caught me off-guard.
And that reminds me, what the balls is going on with Team Magma's admins? Tabitha seems to have undergone quite the design-change, and the other one (whose name escapes me at present)...well, I'm not convinced she isn't a robot.
Story-wise, on the way to Lilycove, but I'm spending some time grinding-- not intentionally grinding, mind you. I'm just trying to even out the level distribution among my team by clearing the routes either side of Fortree, since I skipped most of the fights on the way there. Plus, I've been fighting some Secret Base people.
Fly is broken as all hell in this game, though, and I love it.
I'm tempted to say my current party is going to be my permanent one. I've grown too attached to all of them.
Ezra the Marshtomp (always an uncomfortable few levels ahead of everyone else) and Jemima the Kirlia are my main, leading pair; the Shiny Metang, Evan the Linoone (a surprisingly versatile HM slave), Cosima the Nuzleaf (named after an upcoming ATEE character, although not intentionally) and Tamara the Mightyena comprise the rest of the party. They complement each other so unexpectedly well, in terms of type-coverage, I can't even.
