Which reminds me: Sonic and Blaze both have Mirage Road as Zone 3 in Rush, and, in order for their storylines to work, they have to be there at the same time.
They take exactly the same route.
They completely miss one another.
FAIL.
Which brings me to reiterate: within the team, they refer to the Prince as El (it's both informal AND short for Elagabalus! Plus it means 'the' in Spanish...).
Something else to note: a rumour has been going around the Palace Town that Misty's pregnant- and what doesn't help is, she won't say yes or no, putting Midnight in an awkward position- but whenever he's confronted with the question of whether he...y'know...or not, he always manages to change the subject.
As for best two-person dialogue, see the scene in the Wii version of Colours just before Terminal Velocity Act 1 (well, Tails is there, but he gets shoved into an elevator and sent down to the planet's surface at lightspeed, so he doesn't count). Eggman + puns + Sonic = EPIC ANTIBANTER
Hmm, off the top of my head...
-the classic 'No way! I can't BELIEVE this!'
-the good old days when he and Sonic were mute :XD:
-the whole speech in the elevator scene at the start of Sonic Colours
As far as background info on Neptune's story goes, Midnight has been being reclusive, quiet and generally 'not himself'- most people attribute it to him awakening from death, since, the town found out about that. Their story begins in their first team mission since before TEE1.
