  • As, perhaps, the Neptuniverse may have made clear, I grew up with Sonic first and Mario second. That is, Mario didn't come along until I was about 7 or 8, whereas the various Sonic games have been within my general proximity from the very beginning. Before that, even, since there was a time my parents would play the Genesis games together. I would technically have been present, but I try not to visualise that.

In theory, if one is good at Sonic games, one will be better at a Mario platformer when they try it for the first time than the reverse (that is to say, someone who is good at Mario platformers trying a Sonic game for the first time), because of the difference in pace of the levels.
We see differently on a lot of things. Like acceptable intervals between posts.

    ...That was a joke.
Duh. But for me, 'stealth', as a word, is a total turn-off from whatever it's advertising.

    ...Huh.
There are four or five mini-side-missions that involve Agent 9 and side-scrolling stealth, and beating them earns you half a key, the other half being obtained from some other kind of side-mission, the nature of which I don't remember, but I know it was a lot easier. Come to think of it, I haven't played Spyro Adventure in a while. Perhaps it'll be my second LP after Ib?

Not really. I think the one I used statistically the most was Alex Kidd, but don't quote me on that. I know I used Ulala (or 'That Mrs. Legs' as th'mother called her) a fair bit, too.
I'm not a fan of stealth-- heck, even stealth missions. That's why I left Spyro Adventure not-100%'d for so long.

Not really. As I recall-- it's been a while, y'see-- I never stuck to just one or two characters.
    Hm. Also, pardon my dinnerbrb'ing.

I mean, there are multiple ways one could interpret the question.
It's the only one I've played more than once. I played it twice. And both times, it was utterly terrible.

*shrug* Apparently, the Wii U version is glitchy. But I approve of the rumour that I heard, pre-release, that Shadow's default vehicle is a tank. I don't know if it's true or not, and I cba finding out, but I approve nonetheless.
I don't dislike it, and I'll play it if it's on offer, but I wouldn't go out of my way to. Plus, some of the earlier versions-- and the DS version-- seem really quite awful. The DS version I know to be awful.

I prefer Sonic And SEGA All-Stars Racing, even though I know it's effectively just a Mario Kart rip-off, but, again, I wouldn't go out of my way to play it. If it were SASASR or Mario Kart, I'd pick the former, but really, I'd rather play something else entirely.
Not my sort of game. I'll happily watch someone else LP it, but it's not my thing.

...I can say that with relative security, since the sequel apparently promises to be quite similar in gameplay to the first, and the statement above applies to the first. Either way, no me interesa tan mucho.
