  • Like I said, though, I don't have the necessary recording equipment or game experience.
I'd at least need a practice run of it beforehand. And I assume that, were this to happen, with each successive game, we'd alternate who decides what game it is?

    And speaking of versuseses...
Hrm. I would be less inclined to participate if 100% Completion is a requirement, being as it is that I complete games as far as I can, but I rarely objectively set out to 100% them if I know it's going to be particularly taxing. The main example of that is DK64, and the biggest exception is Majora's Mask, which I will gladly 100%, provided I'm given the time and resources.
Right you are. Well, I'd be in two minds about the idea of participating in such a thing myself. On one hand, I don't think games are things to be rushed; they should be adequately enjoyed, rather than trivialised against the clock. Plus, I lack sufficient recording equipment at this particular point in time. On the other, it sounds like fun.
I don't watch either of their channels, so you'll have to be more specific, but I'm listening.
...Please, just either do it or make it clear what I'm meant to do to get you to do it.

Also, having thought about it, if you'd stuck with IYF, it would probably have ended up being one long, continuous arc of anti-slashery in which death is not only possible, but highly likely. But now, because of new RP section rules, it's permanently dead. Oh, well.
I gathered that from what she says in DK64.

...That's Our Cyriak! Also, yay, you actually took the time out to watch one of my recommended videos for once. Either that, or you're second-guessing a reaction in order to fool me into thinking you actually did the former! Yaaaaay!

...What will it take to get Wes-vs.-Midnight started? Solid gold bread?
...There are still game-specific holes that I can't fill without playing the game myself, but okay.

Also, daffuq did I just watch?
The specific details, being as it is that I've not played that particular game, nor do I follow the DK series all that closely. DK64, my first proper DK game outside of the original NES game, was a good game, but it wasn't enough to get me into the series.

    HINT HINT HINT.
...I understand most of that paragraph.

LOLNOPE I'm flattered. Anyway, the purpose of that question was for something Theodore was about to say. Also, when beginneth the anti-slash?
    OH OKAYZ.

Was that always the case, or did you use my idea?
HM I SEE. So the exchange rate for Inferno Rings to Neptune Rings would be the same as the exchange rate between Japanese Yen and Swedish Kronor, since 1 Neptune Ring is worth approximately 1 Swedish Krona, which equates to about 10p (GB£0.10). I don't know what that is in any kind of dollar, US, Canadian or otherwise, though.
    Sounds fairly tough.

That's all I needed to know, so, out of curiosity: how similar to the Neptuniverse's dual-currency system is it? Is it just the islands (which, IIRC, are part of the Inferno USA) that take Rings, or do all countries, as with the Neptuniverse, have indigenous currencies but also accept Rings?
And if so, what's the exchange rate?
I can't say I've played it, but I assume, by your wording, that it's no easy task?

Also, do they use US$ on Ayres Island, or a different currency?
