  • Come to think of it, I've only seen one complete Shy Guy Mariachi group. The rest are just guitarists, or 'Sombrero Guys'. In world/chapter 3, though, they're replaced by Paperclip Guys and Paint Guys, and if you don't nail the timing when guarding against their attacks, they can be deadly.

...I'll smile and say I get it even though you know I don't.
No, Mariachi. As in those Mexican bands with Spanish guitars and maracas and accordions and the like. If you go into battle with one alone, unless you defeat it in one shot, it'll run away (but remain in the overworld until you defeat it, and its health is reset to 15/15 each time you fight it). The funny thing is, if one is in the area when you get into a battle with a different enemy, it'll jump onto the screen and start playing in the background, as an enemy in the battle. Usually, they play their guitars to double the attack power of the other enemies, but they'll sometimes attack by throwing their sombrero at Mario, or play a different guitar tune to heal their allies.

Irregardlessless of that, world 5-1 is called Shy Guy Jungle, so I'd expect them to appear there, but I haven't played that particular area yet, so I don't know.
    Ah.

Oh, and I found out: no, there is no (direct) Shy Guy's Toy-Box throwback in Sticker Star.
Oh, come, now...IL, for example, is meant to be you, me and Xelda, not *That Guy and xelda57, occasionally featuring minor input from guest star Alex64*.
If it so pleases: named 'Monaco' after Monaco the country, and 'Gordon' because that happens to be the surname of a friend of mine upon whom Monaco's personality was going to be based.
I barely remember CYW (but I recall that you persist in spelling his name wrong), and I can't really go ahead with a pony ship.
    Alright.

The only thing I can think of to expand our possible pairings is to think outside of TEE, which we've experimented with. The thing is, the whole TEE continuum is so big that we do hardly anything outside of it. That's not a problem, of course, but it does somewhat cap our resources of characters.
