That's how I see it, too. Of course, you do sometimes say stuff that does pander to my tastes, as you put it, and I assume that the reverse is also true.
Essentially, it's because I seem to be the only person in my English class that can actually accurately use and identify grammar. And that is a crying shame.
Originally, it was going to be about how to correctly use English grammar, but, thinking about it, I could just as easily cover pretty much the entire AS English Language syllabus.
Unrelated: assuming I can go through the necessary channels, if you'll pardon the pun, with the Media Department at my college, I may well end up with my own little web-series called How Do I English?.
